Why Nantlle?

Located on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, Nantlle is a small village that sits in the Nantlle Valley in the north-west corner of the Snowdonia National Park. It is one of the major slate quarrying regions.

There are some fantastic walks in this area, often with fewer crowds than on the more popular parts of Snowdonia. The Nantlle ridge is one of the classic ridge walking routes in Snowdonia. There is a stunning lake nearby called Llyn Dwarchen famed for it's floating island. It's an excellent fishing spot too.
