    “Absolutley loved our holiday, so peaceful and relaxing.”

    The weather although cloudy was warm and we got no rain, so made our stay even better. Road to the cottage was narrow but if you drove carefully no problem.

The nearby town of Porthmadog has plenty of activities the whole family can get involved in, including a golf club, sailing club, activity & riding centre, Llama trekking and a Maritime Museum, plus the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway runs through the town and stretches 40 miles through the glorious Snowdonia National Park, offering the perfect gateway into the national park. The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog lies on the Glaslyn Estuary and enjoys a stunning setting. The gateway to the Snowdonia National Park, Porthmadog is full of individual shops and restaurants, and home to the Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland railway where you can travel by steam through spectacular Snowdonia scenery, to Blaenau Ffestiniog or Caerforn . The pretty village of Borth Y Gest, with its cliffs and coves, is a short walk or drive from the town. The well known and unique Italianate village of Portmeirion is just down the coast. Situated on a rugged clifftop on its own private peninsula, Portmeirion, famous as the location of the TV show The Prisoner and the final episode of Cold Feet, is surrounded by miles of sandy beaches and woodlands.
