“This was our first stay in Anglesey and we were blown away with the coastal scenery and walks, and the quietness of the roads.”
The weather was beautiful! South Stack lighthouse and Newborough forest and beach were particular favourites. In terms of the property, it’s a lovely apartment that has a new feel to it, and it is clear that the owner has taken a lot of thought and care re decoration, pictures and ornaments. Access etc was no problem. Only a couple of items that I think need considering. The hot water tank doesn’t seem to have much capacity. A bath and shower left the water cold (and it took hours to warm up again, not the 10 mins suggested in the welcome information). Also, the facilities for washing clothes weren’t great. Although it was a washer drier, the welcome pack told us that we couldn’t use the drier as it would overheat, and as the apartment had underfloor heating (and not radiators!), it was very difficult to get clothes dry. Having said all that, these are minor things (and may not affect the majority of visitors) and we’d definitely stay in this apartment again.
