    “Found our stay very enjoyable.”

Cottage very comfortable, lovely views and very peaceful. Concern's the driveway, the speed of the road needs to be 20 before the bend and a sign that says concealed driveway. Many thanks for a comfortable stay.

The property

Trefriw 0.5 miles.

This charming, double-fronted, semi-detached character cottage, with stunning views, is in an elevated position on the edge of the town of Trefriw, in the heart of the Conwy Valley, five miles from Betws-y-Coed, in North Wales.

This delightfully-presented cottage offers a warm and welcoming holiday home for friends and family, and has been stylishly furnished throughout.

Off road parking leads up steps to a delightful cottage garden with far-reaching views over the valley, and when you step inside the property you will appreciate the quality of finish in the modern, fitted kitchen with dining table, warmed by a woodburner, set into a stone chimney breast.

The sitting room with feature fireplace offers a relaxing social space with comfy modern sofas, where you can sit and enjoy the views over the garden and across to the River Conwy.

Upstairs both bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, and offer a double room and twin room with undisturbed views from the dormer windows.

Enjoy sitting outside this delightful cottage in the sunshine with a good book and morning coffee, with a woodland backdrop, planning which of the many local attractions to visit, such as Trefriw Woollen Mill, the Surf Snowdonia water park or the delights of Betws-y-Coed with its numerous craft and arts shops.

Alternatively, perhaps enjoy an energetic walk up through Trefriw to Llyn Crafnant with its circular lakeside walk.

This is a lovely cottage with stunning views and furnished with everything you require for a memorable family holiday or cosy romantic break.

About the location

TREFRIW

Llanrwst 2 miles; Betws-y-Coed 5 miles.

The pretty village of Trefriw is situated in the beautiful Conwy Valley and is within the Snowdonia National Park. Trefriw is ideally placed for all manner of activities and attractions with the splendour of both the National Park and the North Wales Coast on the doorstep. For its size the village offers a good selection of shops, pubs etc. There is also a working woollen mill and craft shop. The Trefriw Wells Spa - discovered by the Romans and still in use today - is worth a visit. Fishing is available on the River Conwy and also in wonderful lakes in the hills above Trefriw, notably Llyn Crafnant. The whole area is a walker’s paradise and there are numerous beautiful routes around and above the village. Other local attractions include Gwydyr Castle which is a fine example of a Tudor courtyard house, and the extensive Gwydyr Forest Park. Llanrwst is a fine old market town with a good range of local shops reached across the River Conwy from Trefriw by a famous bridge. Betws-y-Coed, North Wales' most popular inland resort, is also only a short drive away.
