“We were 3 couples …so ample space.”

It’s a lovely property but it’s a shame that the fixtures are of a high spec eg kitchen, bathrooms , lots of wardrobe space and wooden floors plus most furniture…..but that the simple finer points were disappointing. The curtains , for example , were thin and cheap and ours were stained. One downstairs bedroom had no curtains and the vertical blinds were broken- they put a throw over the window at night. The living room had curtain poles but no curtains….not very cosy for November ...

The living room had curtain poles but no curtains….not very cosy for November. The central heating was great but the en-suite bathroom had damp and needed some TLC. My biggest gripe was the floors… I really don’t think they had been properly cleaned…only swept. Those of us without slippers had filthy feet/ socks within a couple of hours. Like I said initially, a gorgeous property in a gorgeous location….it just needs some simple extra touches to improve the spec and then receive better feedback. We would book again…but only if some of these points were addressed.
