“We had a lovely stay at Kerry Cottage!”
The house was lovely and warm, and is beautiful inside. Can fit 2-3 cars on the drive. The kitchen is perfect for cooking and hosting, there’s plenty of space and the bedrooms are a decent size. It’s nice that there’s two bathrooms. You can have a bath or shower. There’s also shampoo and conditioner provided. Note: the water does seem to go cold quickly, so we had to leave some time inbetween us showering to make sure we had hot water. There’s a TV in 3 of the bedrooms ...

Plus the main TV in the living room. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach, an arcade for the children, a couple of shops and a bar/restaurant. Less than 10 minute drive from Prestatyn, where you have bigger shops, lots of coffee shops, restaurants and pubs. Would highly recommend Kerry Cottage.

Finished to an excellent standard with off-road parking, spacious living areas and an enclosed rear garden, Kerry Cottage invites families for a first-class holiday to North Wales.
After parking up directly outside the front door, head inside and walk through the open-plan living space.
Immediately you will be drawn to the bi-fold doors that fill the space with natural light, looking into the spacious enclosed garden.
The chef amongst the group can take over the striking kitchen, fitted with a host of integrated appliances that is sure to inspire home-cooking, whilst the rest of the group can sit at the breakfast bar and begin planning the holiday agenda.
After serving a tasty dinner, move over to the leather reclining sofa and take advantage of the wall-mounted Smart TV for your evening entertainment.
On those balmy days, throw open the bi-fold doors to access the garden, from which you enjoy a drink at the patio furniture, top up your tan on the sun loungers or enjoy a soak in the lazy-spa hot tub.
As the night grows dark, choose from four inviting bedrooms to lay your rest; on the ground-floor there is a bunk room for children and a king-size double room with Jack-and-Jill access to a shower room, perfect for those with limited mobility.

The idyllic village of Talacre rests on the north coast of Wales in Flintshire. The village is known for its famous beach, sitting just across the River Dee from the Wirral from the English/Welsh border. Boasting miles of golden sand backed by dunes, this dog-friendly beach offers a plenty of space for holidaymakers – you might even get the beach all to yourself! Talacre’s most obvious feature is the Point of Ayr Lighthouse which dates back to 1776. Within the village there are two pubs, the popular Point Bar & Restaurant and the Lighthouse Inn, along with a post office that sells the essentials. The area around the beach, Gronant Dunes and Talacre Warren is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) with an RSPB reserve, home to rare species including the natterjack toad, whilst the nearby Dee Estuary is a haven for wintering birds.
