Lovely and clean throughout the apartment there was a nice welcome pack too on arrival. The new bed is so comfortable. Karen let us know that there might be scaffolding up which wasn't a problem for us , she even emailed to say when they were coming to remove it and suggested that we move our car onto the road for safety .We would definitely recommend a stay at Dolphin View. Karen .

“An excellent week at Dolphin View, the views across the sea were superb, and my wife particularly enjoyed the spectacular sunrises each morning.”

The apartment is spotlessly clean, very modern and well equipped, and we were treated to a welcome pack of milk, Welsh cakes and even a bottle of wine. The owners were extremely helpful, and went out of their way to ensure that our stay was satisfactory and trouble free. The added bonus was that we had really good weather for the entire length of our stay.

“My wife and I spent a week in this lovely flat.”

Everything was as we expected except for the view ,which was even better. This is a great apartment to use as a base to see the sights of North Wales. Or sit on the balcony and look out to sea. You are within easy reach of many towns and beaches but the beach just across the road is one of the best. We found Welsh cakes milk and wine waiting for us when we arrived and Karen emailed to ensure we had settled in. A great holiday.

“The reason for low score , was that on arrival into the lovely apartment with fantastic views we were met with overpowering smell of disinfectant, we located it to the kitchen drain, preparing food made it very distasteful, we searched for a.”

Plug in as they can be very toxic. We did get respite from it in the bedroom, having allergy to sprays found our stay very uncomfortable, I have reported it , I only hope it has been rectified for future suffer's with chest problems. The apartment is lovely, and yes clean. Unfortunately had to cut our holiday short felt it was the only solution for us. Sandra.

Hi Sandra, thanks for the feedback. We do use fragranced cleaning products in the apartment and cleanliness is very important to us with a full clean taking place between guest stays. We’d have been more than happy to use unfragranced products if we’d have been made aware of your allergy before your arrival. “This is our second time at Dolphin view and was even better than the first, mainly down to the weather!”

The apartment was very well equip and was a nice touch with the welcome pack. Liking the new sofa too, was a lot more comfortable. Only thing I’d probably say is the carpets need a thorough deep clean. The hallway and into the bedroom are looking very grubby. Just because they’re pale cream carpets and people walking in and out. Just 1 thing we didn’t really like was leaving rubbish in the apartment for a week. The food bin was good and you couldn’t smell it but leaving rubbish in a hot apartment all week wasn’t great. Was better before we could empty it ourselves. Other than that was a great stay and will definitely return as it will hold a special memory, we got engaged on the beach across the road!!

The door to the living area might have locked shut. There was no way to shut the bedroom door. The plug mechanism in the bathroom was not 100%- it did work in the end.

“The view is lovely.”

The apartment was very comfortable. The parking was very tight good job I'm only thin and our car only a scenic. A few kitchen items weren't clean but we washed them up and all was good. Unfortunately they're digging up the promenade so put a bit of a damper on things for my husband as he prefers to walk on that whereas I prefer the sand. A head's up might have been nice. A must for visitors is Bodnant Gardens - brilliant. Enjoyed the walking on the Great and Little Orme. Had planned to go to Betwys but ran out of time. Big downside for us...the amount of dogs on the beach! But, you get that everywhere now although it said not after 1st May! All in all a great holiday and I miss the sound of the sea as I fall asleep.

This was our third visit and we will probably be back for another in future. Would definitely recommend this apartment for other couples.

“Clean, comfortable, well maintained and everything you can want.”

The only reservation I have relates to the parking facility. The bays simply aren’t big enough and one side is defined by a wall. Fortunately it didn’t affect us as there was no one using the bay next to ours, but had there been it would have been very difficult to physically get in/out of the car and almost impossible to actually exit/enter the car park. OK I have a 4x4 but any average saloon or estate car would have the same problem. I could see this being a issue at the height of the season when all the bays are likely to be in use.

We really enjoyed the large French windows and balcony looking out over the long sandy beach and promenade. A dedicated car park space right outside is a great advantage too. The local Council have done a fantastic job on the beach, it has to be one of the best beaches in the UK, cant wait to go back. Everything was very smooth from booking to entering the apartment, however it would be great to be able to get access earlier but understand why you cant. Great place to stay book it now. Kev.

Can stroll along the promenade to the little town. Great base for visiting the attractions in North Wales. Although the sofa was new it wasn't very comfortable & as we stayed in most of the time it didn't make for a relaxing stay. The bathroom could do with some big hooks on the door to hang clothes on. Yes I would recommend this property.

I agree with other reviews that the sofa wasn’t very comfortable but this this did nothing to affect our overall experience at Dolphin View, we will definitely be back in the future. An added advantage of the location was that we could walk for miles on the promenade without any major hills.

“The apartment is amazing with all you could want, all well maintained.”

An interesting selection of about a dozen books and about 20 DVD's. The view of the beach and sea is excellent, we woke to a different 'picture' each morning. We even sat on the balcony a couple of times, well, it was in November. Being on the fourth floor meant we never closed the blinds all the time we were there. You also have full control of the heating. I would have liked a Bluetooth speaker as I forgot mine, but that was my fault as a speaker was never mentioned. The TV is a Sony, so my Samsung recordings weren't comparable, but the DVD's saved the day. The WI-FI at 23:00 was about 20 mbps download and 1.1 mbps upload, ample for 2 people. The fact is, my wife and I loved every minute we were there and would love to return.

“We were both looking forward to staying at the flat after reading about it but when we arrived it was more than perfect, it was wonderful.”

We felt safe with the security procedures in place, the view from the loung balcony was phenomenal and so relaxing of an evening. There is nothing negative we can say about Dolphin view and would recommend this to any person or couple - a place where you would feel comfortable and safe on your own or as a couple and there is a lift to the flat and a disabled entrance. The furnishings were all new and plenty of wardrobe space - will definitely be back at some point - and thank you for the complimentary wine it went down well after our long journey. Oh and can recommend the local Pub's great food. .

“Dolphin view was an exceptional apartment.”

The view over the sea and down to Rhos on Sea and Conwy Bay were amazing and we didn't tire of it. There was a neat little patio set on the balcony to enjoy the views. Plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space in the bedroom and everything we needed to make this an enjoyable and relaxing week. The two local restaurants were friendly and food good and it was lovely to stroll down the promenade in the evenings. Not too far to drive into Llandudno, without all the hustle and bustle of the larger seaside town, and a good base to explore the area.

“What a fantastic holiday, in a wonderfully clean and comfortable apartment.”

Useful appliances including washing machine and dishwasher. We were left milk, coffee, tea and a wonderful Easter treat of a chocolate egg and daffodils for our stay over the Easter weekend. The view from the balcony doors sat in the swivel chair is very relaxing. We will definitely stay again!

The property

This wonderful apartment is located in the Ocean View apartments, directly on the seafront with exceptional sea views.
