“This beautifully converted ‘cow shed’ was fantastic.”
There are too many great things to mention everything, but this place suited us perfectly. Nesta, the lovely owner, made us feel very welcome with a bottle of fizz in the fridge cooling down and the hot tub heating up. The location was stunning, one side overlooking the sea and the other the mountains (which we explored). The local beach was fun to explore, and we found a lovely walk up the local mountains (Three Sisters, I think) with views to die for. We explored Angelsey which was stunning, Betws y Coed, went south to beaches in Pwhelli and Abersoch and went hiking up Snowdon. We could have filled up another week with things to do!
Then, when you’ve had a busy day and want to relax, the hot tub’s the absolute place to be.
The cottage has everything from lovely fluffy towels to milk and bubbly in the fridge. The shower and bathroom were lovely, beds comfy and kitchen was fully equipped. Phone reception (on 3 and EE) wasn’t too good but the WiFi worked well. Had a Tesco delivery just after we arrived, that worked perfectly. The track up to the cottage is very bumpy, but is only 1/4 mile, so not too bad. There wasn’t much privacy in the garden and hot tub area, but after a couple of days we got used to it. The garden was lovely for our dog, although it’s not fenced in, so you have to keep an eye on your dog all the time.
All-in-all this place gets a 10 out of 10 from us, superb holiday, thank you!
