    Beautifully furnished,spotlessly clean and lovely location. Only negative is very narrow drive with lethal access to main road,although an additional parking area is available away from the property

This detached, character cottage dates back to 1760 and is situated in the charming village of Boduan near Nefyn.

Close to the attractions of Pwllheli and located in an area of outstanding natural beauty Tanrallt Cottage is a superb base for families and groups of four looking to explore this fine part of North Wales.

Enter into the kitchen/diner where a host of appliances await, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and even a washing machine to make your self-catering stay a breeze.

Gather at the dining table and enjoy a home-cooked meal before making your way into the lounge, where you can get the woodburning stove roaring before curling up on the leather sofa, perfect for a good read or flick through the Smart TV for some entertainment.

The first floor hosts two bedrooms, including a king-size and a twin, neatly furnished with crisp white bed linen and matching units to ensure a pleasant stay.

Serving the bedrooms is a contemporary shower room where you can rinse off the sand following a day at the beach.

Spend mornings sitting out on the terraced garden with a cup of tea, with the top-level providing some glorious views of the surrounding countryside.

The surrounding area is wonderfully idyllic, with it being on the edge of the Cors Geirch National nature reserve you can find an array of wildlife whilst enjoying a scenic walk along the riverside before jumping in the car and venturing to the coastal town of Nefyn, resting atop imposing cliffs on the coast of the Llyn Peninsula, this scenic town offers all the essentials including pubs, shops and restaurants, as well as benefitting from two miles of golden sands on the beach, superb for those looking to escape to the seaside for the day.

Brush up on local history at the Llyn Maritime Museum before tucking into some traditional fish and chips before strolling along the beachfront.

Pwllheli is nearby and a lovely base to explore, home to a stunning marina where you can hop on board a boat and enjoy a trip around the waters, or catch the exciting atmosphere of the town during a sailing event.

Explore further afield and you have to lovely coastal spots of Abersoch, Aberdaron and Porth Neigwl to enjoy, or visit Bardsey Island and see the wonderful array of seabirds.

The pretty coastal town of Nefyn sits atop sweeping cliffs on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula, and features a fine two mile stretch of sandy beach, popular with families. The town offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and is within reach of the amenities of the popular towns of Pwllheli and Abersoch. The coastline around this region is dotted with castles and coves, while fishing, sailing and water sports are all available. The Snowdonia National Park is 25 miles away, with its dramatic scenery and abundance of superb walks. With its proximity to such a wide range of destinations, Nefyn makes a superb base for a break.
