“A lovely property as described on the website.”

Plenty of space, indoors and outdoors. 5 minute walk down hill to the beach, steep climb back up! But so worth it. Such a lovely quiet area, beautiful beach and costal walks. There is a hose pipe outside perfect to wash dog and wellies. We stayed in November and were very lucky with the weather. Nice to stay in in the evenings, draw the curtains and watch TV (Sky) or play pool. Well equipped kitchen. We had an Asda shopping delivery for the evening we arrived, which worked really well. Slept so well, massive comfortable super king bed and so quiet. Thank you Paddy

The property

A lovely detached bungalow situated in a tucked away location, just metres from the beautiful sandy beach of Nefyn, on the Northern coast of the Llyn Peninsula, North Wales.

Set within its own grounds, occupying a corner plot with a very large garden, Y Berllan is an ideal base and holiday cottage for families and is beautifully cosy and comfortable in the winter months with central heating and plenty to do.

The bungalow is spacious and well-proportioned and offers great accommodation all on one level making it an ideal base for all the family, young and the not so young!

A spacious sitting room overlooks the garden and patio doors open onto a lovely decked seating area, bringing the outdoors in.

An ideal place for the grown-ups to sit and relax, enjoying their favourite tipple, while still being able to keep a watchful eye on the children playing in the garden.

For the days when weather stops play, the pool table will provide a great source of entertainment for everyone.

There are two dining areas off the sitting room, a breakfast area, for a leisurely morning coffee and a more formal dining area for a sit down family meal together.

The kitchen is well-appointed and equipped, catering for all your needs.

Four nicely appointed bedrooms, one benefitting from an en-suite bathroom with a family bathroom servicing the others completes this lovely bungalow.

The bungalow has a great garden and there is ample parking and a garage provides secure storage for bikes and watercraft.

Situated within metres of the sandy Porthdinllaen Beach, and with easy access to the Llyn Coastal Path, this bungalow is perfect for a beach holiday.

The famous Ty Coch Inn, down on the beach is a great place for a meal you don’t want to cook and the Nonhoron Arms Hotel is close by and Abersoch, Pwllheli, and Criccieth with its castle are all within easy reach.

The pretty fishing village of Aberdaron, worthy of a visit particularly to see the small National Trust property of Plas Yn Rhiw, and Whistling Sands, are short drives away.

A little further afield a visit to Porthmadog is a must, home to the famous Ffestiniog Railway or perhaps visit the Italianate village and gardens of Portmeirion and the World Heritage Site of Caernarfon.

With the whole of the spectacular Llyn Peninsula on the doorstep, plus a superb 27-hole golf course not too far away, Y Berllan is ideally located for a fabulous holiday or break away, anytime throughout the year.
