The property

Crabapple Cottage is a beautiful single-story cottage tucked away in the coastal resort of Llanfairfechan, Conwy.

This charming home is close to the beach, and just a short distance from Snowdonia National Park, which offers fantastic treks, making an ideal base for couples and solo travellers.

The double bedroom is a pleasant space, with a dressing table, and a window facing the yard.

The living/dining room is ideal for unwinding in front of the woodburning stove while watching your favourite show on the Smart TV.

With four upholstered chairs and a glass dining table that seats two, and the white-washed stone wall adds a classic cottage atmosphere.

The galley kitchen has everything you need for home cooking, as well as a washing machine for keeping your outdoor gear clean.

Before going to bed, freshen up in the well-appointed bathroom, which includes a bath and a shower.

You'll also have access to an enclosed patio garden, which is a lovely retreat with outdoor seats.

Llanfairfechan is the ideal base for exploring the spectacular North Wales scenery, situated between the Conwy Estuary and the foothills of the Snowdonia National Park.

Aber Falls, Morfa Aber Nature Reserve, and Coedydd Aber National Nature Reserve are all within driving distance of the town.

There are several restaurants and pubs, as well as a pebble beach that is ideal for summer days.

The town is on the North Wales Coastal Path, making it a walking and cycling paradise.

Conwy is a walled market town on the coast where you can see Conwy Castle, journey back in time to the 16th-century at Plas Mawr house and have fish and chips on Conwy Quay while admiring the river Conwy.

A short distance away is the popular Llandudno, where attractions such as Venue Cymru, the Llandudno Promenade, and the cable cars up to Y Gogarth Great Orme Country Park with panoramic views provide something for everyone all year.

Welsh Mountain Zoo, the National Trust's Bodnant Garden, and a number of lovely beaches, including Conwy Morfa Beach and Colwyn Bay Beach, are just a few of the neighbouring attractions.

Hiking up Carnedd Llewelyn, Zip World Fforest, and Adventure Parc Snowdonia are just some of the outdoor adventures available in Snowdonia National Park.

Penrhyn Castle & Garden, Bangor, and the royal town of Caernarfon, as well as the lovely Isle of Anglesey with its picturesque coast, are all within easy reach.

Llanfairfechan is a small seaside resort on the lovely North Wales coast, and is referred to as “where the mountains touch the sea.” The little town, with easy access to the North Wales Coast Path and cycle way, is renowned for its miles of sandy beach, bird sanctuary and walks to suit all ages and abilities, including the famous Terrace Walk providing stunning views over the Conwy Estuary, Puffin Island and Anglesey. Nearby is Conwy, a World Heritage Site famous for its historical and architectural heritage including its magnificent 13th century castle. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates its past by retaining many of these in its annual festivals, events and fairs including the Honey Fair, Seed Fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October along with other musical events throughout the year. For an action-packed, adventure-fuelled holiday, there is a mountain bike centre at Betws-y-Coed, just over a half-hour drive away, plus Zip World Velocity, the longest zip wire in the northern hemisphere, less than a 20-minute drive away in Bethesda, closer still is Surf Snowdonia, just 7.5 miles away.
