The cottage is a mere 2.5 miles from the Snowdon Mountain Railway which climbs almost to the doorstep of the stunning Hafod Eryri Visitor Centre or you can take one of the many tracks to the summit of Snowdon, all situated a short drive away from the cottage.
Visit the town of Llanberis itself, passing the remains of the famous Dolbadarn Castle on the way which takes you back a thousand years to the time of the native Welsh Princes.
Llanberis Lake is just waiting to be discovered, as is the Llanberis Lake Railway.
There is plenty to see and do in lakeside Padarn Country Park, including The National Slate Museum, Electric Mountain and there are craft shops and watersports too.
