Nestled in the desirable village of Morfa Nefyn in Pwhelli, North Wales, is this fantastic, semi-detached character cottage, Bwthyn Cerrig Man.

Enjoying a fabulous location just moments away from the beautiful sands of Traeth Morfa Nefyn and with easy access to the surrounding areas of Pwhelli and Abersoch, Bwthyn Cerrig Man makes for a wonderful dwelling for couples or a family of four who are looking to embark on their next North Wales adventure.

Be welcomed into the living/dining room, where you can look forward to relaxing on the plush sofa in the glow and warmth of the alluring woodburning stove, as you select a favourite film to watch from the Smart TV.

When you start to feel peckish, make your way through to the well-equipped kitchen, where you can whip up culinary delights with the help of the oven, ceramic hob and handy dishwasher, ensuring a fuss-free clean-up!

Just off the kitchen is a convenient utility room which houses a fridge/freezer and microwave, as well as tumble dryer and washing machine for keeping your holiday wardrobe fresh.

Wash away the day with a refreshing shower, before taking your pick from one of two well-presented bedrooms to catch your rest in, a twin which can be found on the ground-floor and a spacious king-size on the first floor, both with plenty of storage to house your belongings.

Take advantage of your central location and treat your guests to a tasty meal at the nearby Cliffs restaurant as you soak up the fantastic sweeping bay views.

For keen golfers, there is the excellent 27-hole championship Nefyn Golf Club, where you can putt with a fabulous backdrop of sea views.

Pack up your bathing suits, swim trunks, buckets and spades and head for the glorious sands of Traeth Morfa Nefyn or Traeth Porthdinllaen, where you can bathe on the sands with a good book, paddle the shores or tuck-in to fresh fish and chips with the sand between your toes.

Take the short drive over into Nefyn, where you learn more about the area’s rich history at the Llyn Maritime Museum or continue the beach fun at Traeth Nefyn.

Next stop is Pwllheli, home to a picturesque marina, a superb golf club and a charming selection of shops to peruse, as well as a railway station for easy transportation links.

From here you can venture over to Criccieth, with its marvellous castle which overlooks the sea, two fabulous beaches and the Eisteddfa Fishery and Café for the keen anglers in your party.

For those looking for something more adventurous, why not take the scenic drive to The Snowdonia National Park, where you can embark on a terrific selection of walks or tackle the famous 3,560-ft Snowdon Peak.

MORFA NEFYN

Nefyn 1.5 miles; Pwllheli 7 miles; Abersoch 11 miles.

The pretty coastal village of Morfa Nefyn sits atop sweeping cliffs on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula, and features a fine two-mile stretch of sandy beach, popular with families. Morfa Nefyn, has a garage, a wonderful village shop with a cafe, two pubs and restaurants. The nearby town of Nefyn also offers a selection of shops, post office, pubs and restaurants, and both are within reach of the amenities of the popular towns of Pwllheli, Abersoch and the charming village of Boduan. The coastline around this region is dotted with castles and coves, while fishing, sailing and watersports are all available. The Snowdonia National Park is 25 miles away, with its dramatic scenery and superb walks, and many outdoor activity centers for the more energetic visitors. Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches, cliffs, and wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore. The Llyn Peninsula is itself renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking, and features a 91 mile long section of the Welsh Coastal Path that extends from nearby Porthmadog all the way around the peninsula to Caernarfon on the north coast. Also within easy reach are Portmeirion, the Isle of Anglesey, Caernarfon and Bangor. With its proximity to such a wide range of destinations, Morfa Nefyn makes a superb base for a break.
