“Lovely cottage close to everywhere we wanted to visit.”

Clean and warn and very well maintained. The chips were fab! Recommend a visit to the The Cliffs a pub/restaurant 15 mins walk away! A lovely week with surprisingly good weather for October.

“Amazing location, 10-15 mins walk to the beach and some beautiful coastal paths.”

Accommodation has everything you need with modern kitchen and bathrooms. There is space for two cars which is rare. You do hear the fish shop setting up and winding down between 3pm and 10/11pm most days but I think this is reflected in the price and doesn’t affect sleep overnight. We don’t have dogs and could smell dog in the lounge, but it’s very hard to find places that don’t allow dogs these days. Overall, good value for money and was a good space for our family of me, my husband, our baby, and my parents on babysitting duty! Travel cot and high chair were provided.

“We had a fabulous stay in Bryngolau & Alan & Lisa were perfect hosts.”

The house was well equipped and spacious with comfy beds and great showers. Easy to find behind the fish & chip shop with parking for our 2 cars. This is in an ideal position for everything from walking from the front door, to visiting brewery, pubs and shop. Good position for driving out too. The fish and chips are cook fresh and delicious. We highly recommend ❤️

“Directions to property need to be corrected.”

Should say A497 to Morfa Nefyn, not A487. Also, the location of the owners' property for key collection is confusing; it says "opposite", but we took this as opposite the holiday property itself on the driveway (where there is a bungalow). They actually live on the opposite side of the road, so it would be better to say "opposite the fish and chip shop" The property is very spacious, comfortable, clean, well-maintained and well-equipped. The location is superb, within very easy reach of a wonderful coastal walk and a secluded beach and nice pub. Morfa Nefyn is also well placed centrally on the Llyn Peninsula, with easy access to larger towns and villages such as Pwllheli, Porthmadoc and Criccieth, as well as the more remote beaches and coastal areas of the western end of the peninsula The neighbouring fish and chip shop is not an issue. Noise levels are not great and it's only open for a limited time in the evenings and, when out of season, it's not open every night. The only negatives were: - - The lack of instructions on how to operate the various heating appliances; the owner gave us an extremely brief overview, so it was a case of working it out for ourselves - a quick 1-page "How To" guide would have been useful as it could also have included other information, e.g. bins/recyling arrangements, key handover on last day etc. - There was no visitor book. We have always found these to be useful for picking up tips and advice on the local area from previous visitors - No tourist information leaflets; again this can be useful when you're visiting the area for the first time. - A small welcome pack would be appreciated - such as milk, maybe some local produce etc.

“We’ve just returned from a weeks holiday at this cottage.”

We absolutely loved it! The cottage was clean, tidy and modern - which suits us perfectly. The rooms are all very spacious, and comfortable, plus huge smart TVs in every room. The showers were absolutely brilliant!! The location was great - about a 30 minute walk to the Ty Coch Pub, and a lovely beach walk back along to the Cliff Pub. Plus it’s a very central location to surrounding towns (Nefyn/Cricceth/Abersoch) Finally - Don’t be put off by the Chippy next door, it’s only open a few days a week for a couple of hours and didn’t impact us at all. Thank you for a lovely stay!

“This is a great location for visiting different areas of the llyn peninsula.”

The accommodation was in excellent condition and the owner very friendly and welcoming of constructive criticism. In the event I have no criticism, just a couple of comments. If you haven't visited the area before, you need to spend time discovering the hidden gems of the location. For that reason, a detailed visitor pack would be a welcome addition advising on the property details, shops, local restaurants and beaches etc. Parking can be snug but there are allocated spaces. There is a commercial outlet next door but it does not negatively impact on your stay. Overall, particularly in view of its convenient location and reasonable cost, we would definitely stay again. For reference, our party was 3 adults and 2 children and all were well catered for.

Nefyn 1.5 miles; Pwllheli 7 miles; Abersoch 11 miles.

The pretty coastal village of Morfa Nefyn sits atop sweeping cliffs on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula, and features a fine two-mile stretch of sandy beach, popular with families. Morfa Nefyn, has a garage, a wonderful village shop with a cafe, two pubs and restaurants. The nearby town of Nefyn also offers a selection of shops, post office, pubs and restaurants, and both are within reach of the amenities of the popular towns of Pwllheli, Abersoch and the charming village of Boduan. The coastline around this region is dotted with castles and coves, while fishing, sailing and watersports are all available.
