    “Beautiful property, well presented and everything worked well eg TV / WI-FI, plumbing etc unfortunately the property is very close to a main road which means there is road traffic noise especially during peak travel periods.”

The property

Cennin is a delightful stone cottage resting on the outskirts of the popular seaside town of Criccieth on the Llyn Peninsula.

The spacious family home has been renovated to a high standard and has everything you could want for in a holiday house!

Deep pile carpets, underfloor heating and a huge sociable kitchen/dining room with patio doors out to the garden. The sitting room is large and bright.

Comfortable sofas are set around Smart TV as well as a modern wall hung electric fire. The open plan kitchen and dining space has all you need to prepare heartwarming meals for the family after a wonderful day sightseeing in Snowdonia.

The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, electric hob & fan assisted oven, extractor hood, microwave, fridge freezer.

French doors in this room open out onto the garden area.

There is also a dining table and chairs for family meals seating up to six people. There is a separate utility that houses the washing machine.

There is also a downstairs cloakroom with loo, wash hand basin, large electric shower.

Cennin has three bedrooms - one super king, one double, one twin room. The family bathroom is on the first floor and has a walk in shower, loo, wash hand basin, double ended freestanding bath and heated towel rail. Outside there is an enclosed garden with an area laid to lawn and an elevated area with a table for sitting out on and enjoying the views.

There is private off road parking for at least three cars on the gravelled area. Close to the beach and with wonderful sweeping sea views from the garden Cennin is a heavenly holiday hideaway to return to after busy days of adventure. Just a two minute drive (or a ten minute walk) takes you to the popular seaside town of Criccieth, or a ten minute drive in either direction will take you to Pwllheli or Porthmadog, with a good selection of shops, restaurants and a supermarket in each town. Cennin has great transport links whether you want to explore in your car, or try out the local public transport - with a bus stop not far making it easy to enjoy some time away from behind the wheel!

Close to Llanystymdwy, it is a fantastic house, perfectly placed for getting out and about and exploring the glorious Llyn Peninsula and beyond.

Porthmadog 5 miles; Portmeirion 8 miles; Abersoch 15 miles.

Often described as the 'Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia’, this delightful seaside town is situated just 5 miles from Porthmadog. The town’s 13th century castle perches majestically on a rocky outcrop, dominating the skyline and offering superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Stroll along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the various pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream. Further afield, attractions such as Portmeirion’s wonderful Italianate gardens, the Ffestiniog railway in Porthmadog, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle and the beautiful beaches and renowned golf courses of the Llyn Peninsula are all within an easy drive.
