The property

Tucked away on the outskirts of Colwyn Bay, on the main road to Llandudno and Conwy, is this splendid first-floor apartment.

The Nook 285B is a lovely escape for families and friends, providing easy access to the magnificent North Wales’ coastline, with beaches and attractions galore.

After parking up in the driveway, enter the property and climb to the first floor, where you will find the entrance to this delightful base.

Step inside and discover the lounge, offering a plush settee to lounge on after a day of walking, along with a TV for catching up on your favourite shows.

Move into the kitchen, fitted with a good selection of appliances to assist in home-cooking, whether you fancy a light afternoon snack or a hearty dinner, it’s got you covered!

Whisk off to the bedrooms for some shut-eye, including a double and twin, each colour coordinated in a refreshing style, and served by a bathroom in an all-white overtone.

Stroll into the town of Colwyn Bay, which boasts an original seaside charm and a friendly atmosphere, with the town centre offering a weekly market and a cluster of waterside eateries and shops.

Spend summer days on Colwyn Bay Beach, ideal for sunbathing, swimming or sandcastle building, or even try your hand at watersports, including wind-surfing, paddleboarding and sailing.

Take the family out to the Welsh Mountain Zoo, home to snow leopards, tigers and red pandas to name a few, perfect for all ages.

Five miles away lies Llandudno, a thriving seaside resort with plenty to do, including strolls along the promenade, browsing the amusement arcade for a favourite game, strolling through the Happy Valley Botanical Gardens, along with Cable Cars up to the Great Orme, where you can marvel at the beautiful views of the coast, Anglesey and the Eryri (Snowdonia) Mountains!

The elegant coastal resort of Colwyn Bay has much to offer visitors of all ages, including sandy beaches, a promenade, a large park with a skateboard section, a leisure centre and bowling green, the Welsh Mountain Zoo, Eirias Park, a leisure centre, a theatre/cinema, numerous shops, pubs and restaurants (one on the seafront by the watersports centre, is owned by the celebrity chef, Bryn Williams, who also owns Odette's restaurant in London). Colwyn Bay is an ideal touring base and is close to the many and varied attractions of North Wales and it also benefits from many yearly events, including the Triathlon, the Forties Festival and the Prom Xtra. Set not far away in Llandudno is the Victorian Extravaganza which is also held annually. Virgin Trains travel directly from London Euston to Colwyn Bay and take approximately 2 hours 45 minutes, stopping at Milton Keynes Central, Crewe and Chester.
