“Everything was fine and everything we needed, would preferred a bigger fridge due to us staying for 2 weeks and wanted to do more home cooking and was unable to store food for several days due to the lack of room.”

Sofa looked nice but wasn't comfortable to relax on. The dining table and chairs is a bit bulky for the space and it was sometimes difficult to get in and out. Require new squidgy in shower room as it was split on both ends. My daughter liked the garden and being able to see the cows in the morning. Location was perfect and goodies we received when there was a nice gesture. We will come back again but may hire the one above as it has a bath.

Thank you for taking the time to give this feedback. I accept your comments regarding the FF and we are looking in ways to put a bigger FF in the kitchen. But, due to the size of the kitchen, it's a tight squeeze. The sofa and dining set is a high quality and we have always believed it to be very comfortable and practical. These items have never been mentioned in another feed back. But, I thank you for sharing your personal views. Thank you for highlighting the bathroom squidgy had two small splits. This will be replaced. The top flat does have a bath and a over bath shower. And is a mirror imagine of the downstairs flat. I'm glad your daughter enjoyed our friends cow neighbours. Hosts really helpful. Location great, only 50mins to our longest visit, Portmerion, most locations we visited in under 30mins drive, some only 10mins or less. Lots to see. Beautifully clean, well furnished, lots of little extras, great shower comfy beds...what's not to like

The outdoor seating area is perfect for a relaxed evening meal (weather permitting) and the comfortable, clean and spacious interior will not dissapoint if it doesn't The large walk in shower is a bonus. The final icing on the cake was the unexpected (and very welcome) welcome pack

Sorry you thought there was a problem with the accomodation. The owner and agent did liase with you about the' problem'and as there is no damp found in the property we could not do anything. We had guest leave that morning wgo left good feedback and there was no problems then. We always ensure that the property is kept in a good decorative and clean order for our guests as is stated in other feedback left. “A beautifully presented home from home which has everything anyone could need for a comfortable holiday.”

Shopping is a few minutes by away by car or catch the passing bus. The main artery A55 is five minutes by car as is the A470 route to the mountains giving access to coast and country easily. The owners met us and we're very pleasant and helpful, even to loaning a slow cooker when I asked in advance if one might be available. Sleep was a joy in a wonderful quality of both bed and bedding. Easy controls for heating Bike shed option available by the door and a picnic bench in the rear garden space for the hot days if you want to dine outside. Colwyn Bay is very close by offering cafes, shops, library and a great indoor shopping mall and a weekly market. The beach has been upgraded and the prom is still undergoing work though it doesn't prevent enjoyment of the beach. The Long prom leads you to near by Rhos on Sea, another small jewel to explore. Our stay was without doubt one of the best self catering holidays we have had due to the attention to detail and the "every eventuality" thought put in by the very nice owners of "The Nook". We had the ground floor apartment and never heard the people upstairs other then if they used the front door...a seperate access door...so sound proofing and privacy has been given serious consideration. This wonderful property has not been kitted out to simply get maximum return but to give maximum comfort at a realistic rate. We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends.

Prior to our week away we were contacted by the owners both by phone and email with lots of useful information to inform us of the activities available and places to visit during our stay. We were met on arrival and they could not do enough for us to make us welcome and feel at home. The flat itself is immaculate and well looked after. There was a beautiful welcome hamper for us when we got there and out of 10 I would give the Nook 12. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to visit North Wales for a holiday or short break.

The extra touches of the welcome hamper, treats for our dog and providing information on the local area all helped to ease us into the holiday. Susan and Stephen are the perfect hosts we felt welcome and at home. The flat is clean, comfortable with modern furnishings and has the bonus of a secure garden for guests with dogs. It is ideally situated for touring round north Wales or staying local for Llandudno, Rhos on Sea or Colwyn Bay. The Welsh Mountain Zoo is not far way either and Bodnant Gardens just a 10 min drive. The weather was glorious for our stay which was another bonus. It's a definate returner for us.

“This apartment situated on the ground floor of a 2 storey detached property even though it is set back from the main road toward Conwy is a place of extreme comfort peace and quiet.”

It has plenty of off road parking. The owner SUE who lives next door greeted me with a beaming smile and showed me around the apartment giving me all the relevant information about the property and the surrounding area etc. She then left me to it but was on hand only if I needed her. I was overwhelmed by the detail of the furnishings and attention to every detail of anything I could wish for in the property which was absolutely immaculate and clean. She also showed me the overflowing welcome pack which included treats for my little doggy Titch. I had a wonderful week even though it was at the point of the Covid19 outbreak, which however I was able to keep in touch with, with the Smart TV and free WI/FI. As was said by Arnie I WILL BE BACK as soon as possible.

“Neither of us had been to north Wales since we were kids and really didn't know what to expect.”

The Nook is a lovely little home from home and really exceeds expectations for the costs.. we booked for 5 nights and were met on arrival by Susan who gave us a lovely welcome and showed us where everything was and how it worked.. each room has been meticulously decorated and finished to a very high standard. The kitchen has everything that you can possibly think of needing. The bathroom / wet room is lovely and has a shower to die for with hot water a plenty.. There was a welcome pack waiting for us in the kitchen which had everything we needed for the first day there, even some doggie treats for our big old German shepherd Milo who was also made welcome.. the two little bottles of prosecco were also very well received Everything about the Nook is a positive and Sue & Steve should be really proud of what they have achieved with this lovely little house... I cant honestly think of anything we could pick fault with during our stay here, we really enjoyed it and will look forward to booking it again

This charming ground-floor apartment is situated on the outskirts of the seaside town of Colwyn Bay, ideally placed for touring North Wales and the Snowdonia National Park.

Refurbished to a lovely standard, this apartment accommodates well for a couple or small family, with plenty of amenities within walking distance.

Enter into the building through the back door which takes you into the kitchen, appointed with everything need for a short break or week-long stay.

Snuggle up together on the comfy sofas and browse the entertainment choices from the Smart TV, with the electric fire providing a comforting warmth.

Discover the two bedrooms, comprising of a double and small double room.

Serviced by a dazzling shower room with sleek white tiles and a contemporary, walk-in shower.

Outside there is seating to enjoy a refreshing drink in the morning with views of Bryn Euryn.

Colwyn Bay is ideal for touring the varied attractions of North Wales, and offers its own leisure centre, shops, pubs, restaurants and a lovely sandy beach.

Join the promenade and stroll from one end of the bay to the other, stopping off at a café for ice cream or a warm cup of tea, depending on the time of year you visit.

The property is close to Rhos-on-Sea: a pretty seaside village with harbour, an enclosed area with paddling pool, picnic area and park.

There is a crazy golf, pub and restaurant across the road.

The village has a variety of cafes and shops. There is also a cycle track running the length of the seafront which is suitable for young children.

The elegant coastal resort of Colwyn Bay has much to offer visitors of all ages, including sandy beaches, a promenade, a large park with a skateboard section, a leisure centre and bowling green, the Welsh Mountain Zoo, Eirias Park, a leisure centre, a theatre/cinema, numerous shops, pubs and restaurants (one on the seafront by the watersports centre, is owned by the celebrity chef, Bryn Williams, who also owns Odette's restaurant in London). Colwyn Bay is an ideal touring base and is close to the many and varied attractions of North Wales and it also benefits from many yearly events, including the Triathlon, the Forties Festival and the Prom Xtra. Set not far away in Llandudno is the Victorian Extravaganza which is also held annually. Virgin Trains travel directly from London Euston to Colwyn Bay and take approximately 2 hours 45 minutes, stopping at Milton Keynes Central, Crewe and Chester.
