The property

Set in the peaceful Welsh village of Llanfair Talhaiarn, near to the small market town of Abergele, is this remarkable rural holiday home, Fron Goch Farm.

Once an old farmhouse, this contemporary property is comprised of an annex and the main house, which is set over two floors and together can sleep up to sixteen guests, Fron Goch Farm is the perfect location to escape to the country in complete style, with easy access to Conwy and Surf Snowdonia.

Arriving at the property you will find ample parking for you and your party, before entering the property to begin your North Wales Adventure.

Be welcomed into the large timber frame oak living/dining room, with impressive original beams and oak flooring, you can look forward to cosying up after a long day of exploring the countryside with your favourite film, revelling in the warmth of the woodburning stove, with the floor-to-ceiling windows offering expansive views of the valley.

The designated chef will enjoy using local produce to create delicious meals for the group in the fully-equipped kitchen with electric stove and AGA, which can then be enjoyed around the generous dining room table as you discuss plans for the days ahead.

You will also benefit from the handy utility room which houses a large wine fridge and washing machine, ideal for putting muddy clothes on a spin after a walk.

Moving through the property, you will find a second woodburning stove in the hallway which can be lit to add further warmth on colder evenings, as well as a host of traditional features including traditional oak farmhouse doors with latches throughout the house.

Settle down in front of the woodburning stove with a glass of wine in the second sitting room, where you can put your feet up and relax on the corner suite to enjoy a family film night.

Also, on the ground floor is the cloakroom with basin and WC, eliminating any queues for the bathroom!

When night falls, the property ensures a flexible sleeping arrangement for all parties with six spacious king-size and twin bedrooms to choose from in the main house, one of which is located on the ground floor, ideal for those who have mobility issues.

Soak up the scenery after a pub lunch with a leisurely stroll along the River Elwy which flows through the small village.

Take the short drive to the market town of Abergele, which is home to a good selection of independent shops, pubs and eateries, as well as its own beach and the famous Gwrych Castle.

Grab your walking boots and venture up to the castle, which has increased in popularity since its appearance on the ITV show, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!

A short drive to Betws y Coed, the gateway to the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia) is excellent for hill walking, adventure activities, shopping and dining.

You can enjoy wandering the castle gardens, venture into the castle and see the remaining memorabilia left by the show.

Just beside the castle is the Manorafon Farm Park, a perfect day to enjoy with the children where you can meet and feed the local farm animals.

Located just a little further is the charming town of Llandudno, well-known for its large Victorian pier and promenade, where you can step back in time and enjoy original Punch and Judy shows, as well as donkey rides of the ample sandy beaches.

Drive or take the alpine-style cable cars up to The Great Orme which offers the best views over Llandudno and out to sea, there is also the Little Orme where you can look down over Angel Bay to see playful seals sprawling on the rocks below.
