“The Smithy provided everything we needed for a calm relaxed comfortable holiday break.”

Despite its size downstairs is spacious well thought out and comfortable. Having been to many holiday cottages, especially on Anglesey, this is probably the very best we have been to. Despite its size downstairs is spacious well thought out and comfortable. Having been to many holiday cottages, especially on Anglesey, this is probably the very best we have been to. Small things like the cups are a good size, not too small, the cutlery is good quality, kitchen utensils all are present and in good condition. Nothing is tired. The TV works very well. The couch is comfortable. The stairs are spacious, I was expecting a low ceiling but they are open and high. Upstairs the bedrooms are as the rest of the cottage, well presented and comfortable. The bathroom has a bath which I always enjoy. A slight word of caution here, as the upstairs is in the roof there is a slanting of the roof so it may be a little tight in the shower. I am 5”7 and it was fine but anyone taller it may be a little tight. However the shower is great. Overall the cottage is comfortable clean and well looked after. The grounds are incredible, the trees and garden with pond, summerhouse is stunning. My wife fell in love with the family ducks who greeted her when she fed them grapes. Overlooking fields, it is a perfect place to just be and rest in nature. It is easy to forget yourself here, and that there is much to do on the island too! Helen and Rick, the owners clearly love what they do, they put their hearts into this and it shows. They are very nice and accommodating and the whole place is ran to a high standard. A perfect place to come, rest in nature and enjoy a comfortable cottage. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Our only issue was that we didn’t want to leave!
