    “This cottage is beautiful.”

It has some lovely characteristics and it has a real homely feel to it. Upon arrival the only disappointment we had was it had a few damp patches in areas and with having a baby the cleanliness wasn't up to par but the place generally is beautiful it wasn't anything we couldn't sort ourselves. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket and the dog had treats too. I do recommend this cottage

Tucked away in the quaint and rural village of Llandwrog, you will find this striking Welsh cottage, which is Grade II listed.

The cottage has been extensively refurbished to a high standard.

Set just a stone's throw away from the historical town of Caernarfon and within reaching distance of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park and Pen Llŷn (Llŷn Peninsula), 3 Cae’r Llwyn offers the perfect base for a couple or a family of four who seek an unforgettable adventure in the north of Wales.

As you step inside, be welcomed into the homely sitting room, beautifully appointed with a woodburning stove and plush seating area, where you can delight in many entertaining evenings with your loved ones.

The adjoining utility room provides a handy space to wash your clothes following an enthralling afternoon walk, before freshening up with a long soak in the bright and airy ground-floor bathroom.

At the end of the night, retire yourself to the pretty and accessible ground-floor bedroom with king size bed.

The steep staircase leads up to a quaint twin children’s bedroom exuding character from the exposed beams and sloping ceilings.

There is a bike storage shed available at the back.

Parc Glynllifon is only a short walk away, the Grade I listed historic gardens has a diverse collection of rare trees and plants.

You can also head into nearby Penygroes (just over 3 miles away) and Caernarfon (just over 5 miles away) where you will find a good selection of cafes, pubs and stores stocking all of the essentials.

Travel into the heart of Caernarfon, famed for its monumental Castle built by Edward 1, see the fascinating Inigo Jones Slate Works or scale the heights of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) by foot or train, before spending another memorable day at Zip World, Gypsy Wood or Greenwood Forest Park.

Portmeirion, the iconic and world famous Italianate Village, where the actor Patrick Mcgoohan starred in the 70s TV series The Prisoner is only a 25 minutes drive away.
