“This property is currently not fit for purpose!”

The roof is leaking in the hallway and dripping water, the roof in the twin bedroom is leaking and the plaint is falling off the ceiling onto the bed, the damp is a health hazard. The heating does not work, was asked if the heating had been fixed (it clearly had not been) he could not answer and did not phone back (Very poor service) with any answers. Hot water was only enough for one shower. Please please sort this health hazard before allowing others to stay. We will persue our money back!

Thank you for your review and for making me aware of the issues via this feedback after your stay. Following this, we investigated and concluded that it was not mold but in fact, a chimney leak due to incredibly bad weather over your check in period. The chimney is currently being fixed. Along with the hot water which wasn't broken it had been adjusted and I apologize for the inconvenience during your stay. We do hope to welcome you back in the future. Property Owner

With countryside views Llyn Peninsula and Snowdonia including Carnedfol and Foel Fawr, and sea views of Cardigan Bay towards Abersoch and Pwllheli, which can be enjoyed from two of three bedrooms and the dining room, when gathering for a family dinner, Gorwel Glas encompasses you in your destination, settling you in to your new home-from-home.

With three bedrooms, a king-size with an en-suite with a shower and macerating WC and smart TV, a king-size with a TV and accompanying standard Blu-Ray DVD player, and a twin ideal for children, everyone will have a place to call their own; some of the bedrooms boast stunning exposed beams, providing a sense of history and charm to Gorwel Glas.

The bathroom is a place of luxury, boasting a freestanding bath and power shower, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the local area.

Continue into the open-plan living space, where you can cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen, ready to be enjoyed over a bottle of wine at the dining table for six.

As the night draws in, cosy up on the L-shape sofa while catching up on your favourite shows on the Smart TV, get competitive with a game on the XBOX, or indulge with snacks and stick on a DVD to enjoy on the cinema screen.

For a quintessential day on the Welsh coast, take a wander to the nearby sheltered National Trust beach, Llanbedrog, a dog-friendly beach located just a short walk away, which offers pet treats of dog ice cream & dog sausages, as well as ice cream for kids, or perhaps try your hand at paddleboarding on warmer days, or for those brave enough some open water swimming .

Once you’ve had your fill of sandcastle building, why not take advantage of the two family-friendly pubs in the area, both boasting plenty of good grub.

If you’d rather dine in, the local store has you covered with all of your essentials, or, for something a little special, why not try the local, family-run bistro?

Ideally positioned with coast and country, you can find an abundance of walking routes, whether you prefer the challenging crags of Eyri (Snowdonia) National Park, or the soft sands of the coastal paths, there's a trail for everyone.

Continue your explorations by travelling to Tremfan Hall, just around the corner, for a glimpse of the ancient Welsh culture, or take a tour of Plas Glyn y Weddw arts centre and tea rooms.

Take a short drive to Abersoch beach for sailing and other water sports, Port Neigwl for surfing and Pwllheli to explore the magnificent sights of the Llyn Peninsula with its thrilling outdoor activities, beautiful beaches and stunning scenery, all waiting to be discovered.

Your escape to Wales starts at Gorwel Glas.
