A reverse-level property, this lovely abode has off-road parking for two cars, a private raised garden with hot tub, and a well-equipped kitchen for two to enjoy a self-catering holiday in North Wales.

Head up to the first floor where you'll find an open-plan living space with a contemporary kitchen, dining area for two guests, and a snug sitting area with a leather sofa to unwind in front of the Smart TV.

From here, you can access the garden, which backs onto woodland and paddocks with grazing horses, making a secluded spot relax with your other half; sink into the sheltered hot tub, dine alfresco on the barbecue or simply relax with a cold glass of wine after the day's adventures.

The ground floor has a double bedroom and a shower room where you can recharge before another adventure-packed day.

In the town of Mold, you'll find a selection of shops, supermarkets, and eateries, including Pen Y Bont Farm, Belvedere, and the Queens Head Inn.

The town is also home to Theatr Clwyd for a range of live performances, but if you're looking for outdoor adventures, hike up Moel Famau or Moel-Y-Parc, and head to Loggerheads Country Park for a range of cycling or walking trails and dramatic views.

There are a number of National Trust properties close to your cottage, such as the expansive parkland of the 18th-century Erddig manor and Chirk Castle, a 700-year-old Welsh fortress.

For more historic attractions, spend the day exploring Ruthin with Nantclwyd y Dre Historic House and Gardens, or head to Denbigh to explore the ruined fortress of Castell Dinbych.

The city of Chester is also a short drive away where you can admire the unique cathedral, wander the Roman City Walls, and find a variety of shops, traditional pubs, and restaurants, whilst Chester Zoo is a must for an unforgettable day out.
