“Location, Location, Location!”

Corvette is in a very quiet spot, but just a short stroll to the beach and amenities of Trearddur Bay, and only a short drive to the local supermarkets. Parking isxa diddle with two spaces allocated to the property. The house was exceptionally clean, and extremely well equipped with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. The added bonus is strong wi-fi and a large screen smart TV, and a large garden area. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise. All in all a fantastic stay.

“Lovely clean, well-equipped cottage in quiet close tucked away from the road, yet only a few minutes walk to the beach and our favourite restaurants.”

We’ve stayed at Corvette before, and also stayed in this area many times as it is easy to get around the island from here, and has the convenience of supermarkets just minutes away to stock up on provisions! The owner clearly takes a pride in her property and also leaves you a nice little basket of goodies. Thank you, Dawn, for everything, - and I’ve posted back the spare key we inadvertently brought home with us!

“We’ve recently come back from a stay at Corvette, lovely property, very comfortable, fully equipped with what you need however feel as though the cleanliness needs a bit more attention to details (Skirting boards) other than that house is very clean.”

Only down fall is the neighbours aren’t very friendly, we received a note off neighbor as we didn’t realize we was parking in wrong space, we felt as though we was being watched by them and stared at a lot.

Sadly we were expecting some less than positive feedback from you. When you booked Corvette you will have known that it is marketed as pet free. This is very important to our business as we have several returning guests on that basis due to allergies. During your stay you were contacted twice by Sykes after a neighbour became aware that you had brought a dog to the property. Your dog was resident over several days and despite your denials, photographs were requested by Sykes and were provided. They know that we don’t allow pets due to allergies and that it could affect our business and our other guests. Thankfully this situation has never arisen before. We are sorry you felt the need to be critical about the cleanliness but we are confident that every inch of the property including skirting boards were cleaned as I clean it myself and not a cleaning company. Our previous feedback scores show that we have achieved very high standards in cleanliness over the past 14 years. Property Owner

“We weren't sure we would be going after my Wife Pat had a serious accident,and needed a wheelchair at times.”

“I would highly recommend this property for a fabulous holiday.”

It is scrupulously clean, with not a trace of dust anywhere. It is well appointed with everything you might need. The rooms are comfortable and clean. It is less than 5 minutes walk from the fabulous beach, but is in a quiet area so no noise. It has a large fenced in garden area for children to safely play. There is also a generous welcome pack on arrival. Overall, a lovely relaxing place to holiday.

“Hello…while Corvette was very comfortable and stylish and had five bed spaces ,we found the dining /kitchen very tiny and there were not even five chairs for people to sit at the dining table.”

Although we booked as a couple we had g/children staying in the village and could not seat them for a meal. Cooking was difficult as was access to the fridge. I need a Coeliac diet so cooked everything in the house and did not eat at the local pubs. I can understand why you try to get as many as poss into places but this was very tight. Nevertheless it was very convenient for the beach and local facilities so I am sorry to complain.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback; however, I do wish to address the poor score you gave for the accuracy of the listing of the property. The property is advertised that it sleeps five; however, in the very first line of the description it says that there are two double bedrooms and one of which has a double and a “shorty” bed. This is to provide flexibility for families staying at Corvette. The size of the “shorty” bed is also provided. Within the advertisement for Corvette the photographs clearly show the layout and the size of the kitchen and dining area. Corvette is priced as a sleeps four accommodation and always achieves very high scores. I hope enjoyed visiting Anglesey. Regards Dawn Property Owner

I also think that the host ridiculously raised the prices for the Easter weekend as the size of the property does not warrant the cost. It is not tiny but it is not big enough to justify the amount I paid.

A modern, end-terrace mews cottage, converted from part of the old school house, only five minutes' walk from the beautiful beach in the popular Anglesey village of Trearddur Bay.

This traditional Trearddur Bay cottage has been fully renovated to provide comfortable, welcoming accommodation with two bright bedrooms and a light, airy living area, perfect for a coastal getaway or romantic break.

The fantastic stretch of sandy beach close to this Trearddur Bay cottage has something for everybody to enjoy; the great sea conditions make the beach ideal for sailing and swimming, and for those who want to try something different, many other outdoor pursuits are available in the village.

Cafés, restaurants, shops and pubs are only a short walk away from this lovely Trearddur Bay cottage, while the local golf club, birdwatching and cliff walks at South Stack Lighthouse are easily accessible.

For a great day out, NT's Plas Newydd and Beaumaris Castle are on the island.

Alternatively, discover Snowdonia, Conwy and Caernarfon castles, a little further afield.

About the location

TREARDDUR BAY

Holyhead 2 miles.

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!
