    “My main gripe is that the property was advertised as sleeping 14 but only had beds for 13.”

    Consequently one of our party had to sleep on a sofa for the whole week. This is a case of false advertising. The premises wasn't clean, cobwebs all over the stairs. The blinds throughout the house were broken or difficult to use. The kitchen had only 6 teaspoons. No egg cups. The frying pan supplied doesn't work on the induction hob. A bedroom door on the first floor wouldn't close. No wardrobe facilities throughout the house. In the 3 bedded room there was two sets of drawers. The front of ...

The front of every drawer pulled away from the drawer when trying to the open them. there was a stained and dirty bed throw in one of the bedrooms. There was no recycling facility available. All our rubbish had to go in the large bin outside the house. The wooden gates to the property are rotten and difficult to open or close. With young children in our party this was a safety issue as the drive opened out on to a main road. A house of this size should have a washing machine and a dryer. Using the same towels for a whole week without being able to wash or dry them is unhygenic.

The property

The Old Coal Yard is a magnificent, detached holiday home with six bedrooms that is tucked away in a prime location near Cemaes Bay on Anglesey.

The Old Coal Yard accommodates fourteen guests and is ideal for large families or groups of friends.

It is close to local facilities and a beach, has a well-equipped kitchen/dining area, lovely views, and is tastefully decorated throughout.

If you prefer to eat outside, take advantage of the enclosed deck, which is ideal for soaking up the sun while your dog plays safely.

The huge kitchen/diner is the social centre of the home and where you and your loved ones can prepare, cook, and enjoy mealtimes together.

Climbing to the first floor reveals a magnificent and roomy sitting area with a wood-burning stove of its own, ideal for those chilly evenings.

With six lovely bedrooms to choose from, including a King-size with en-suite, three doubles - one with en-suite, a bunk, and a ground-floor family room housing a bunk and a single, you can find some much-needed R&R here.

Start your coastal explorations in the morning by enjoying Traeth Mawr Large Beach, Porth Padrig, and Traeth Porth Wen Beach, three wonderful spots to unwind, paddle the coastlines, or try your hand at a variety of watersports.
