Thank you for the lovely feedback and glad you had a nice stay. The Wi Fi is so temperamental even when we had it available it never worked so eventually we decided it was better to advertise none available than have it cause problems for guests if they rely on it Property Owner

“Ty Hafan is a lovely cosy retreat and is very well placed for exploring the surrounding area.”

Our host was very friendly and Ty Hafan was immaculately clean. There is no oven so would advise future guests to learn how to use an airfryer if cooking other than microwave is required! But altogether a lovely place to stay.

Thank you for the feedback but there really is no need to warn future guests there is no oven because most people would look at the pictures of the property and read the description of what is available before they would book. Im not aware there are any courses anyone can go on to "learn" how to use an airfryer . The instruction book is present with it and you could have asked if you needed help. I'm sorry this was such an issue for you Property Owner

“We were met by Emma on arrival which was very nice.”

She showed us everything we needed to know. This was a good base to explore Wales. The garden area is private and you get the sun in the afternoon/evening.

“The cottage was lovely and just as described.”

The decor and facilities were well above average. It was very private, albeit in the grounds of the house, we didn't feel overlooked at all. All in all a very comfy stay, and a great base for exploring the North Wales coast and Snowdonia.

About the location

MOSTYN

Holywell 5 miles; Chester 23 miles.

The small village of Mostyn is situated on the estuary of the River Dee, five miles from the town of Holywell in Flintshire, North Wales. To the north west of the village is Mostyn Hall and Garden, with the hall being a Grade I listed building which has been an estate for the Mostyn family for a number of centuries. The nearby market town of Holywell is home to the famous St. Winefride's Well, one of the Seven Wonders of Wales, and the remains of the 12th century Basingwerk Abbey. Within reach are also four golf courses, including Pennant Park, which has a wonderful clubhouse and far reaching views over the River Dee and the sea. The Pennant Walk, Offa's Dyke Pathway and The Clwydian Range are some of the walking routes available in the area, and the historic city of Chester, with its famous Rows, city walls and good shopping is within driving distance. Also within reach are the towns of Ruthin and Betws-y-Coed and the stunning Snowdonia National Park.
