“Beautiful cottage, in a fantastic position for Llangollen.”

The heated conservatory was a welcome addition as the cottage could be dark ( as expected for the age). We spent most afternoons in there adter a day of exploring. It will be wonderful if the warmer months sitting in the garden overlooking the river Dee. The cottage had more than enough crockery, kitchen utensils, towels etc and there was even tea, coffee and milk which was lovely after a long journey to get there. My criticisms would be there is a large amount of black mould on the shower ...

My criticisms would be there is a large amount of black mould on the shower screen of the ensuite ( easily reticified). We used this shower room more, just because it felt like a larger floorspace for getting dry. Both shower rooms need the toilet seat tightening. They moved quite a bit when sitting down. The duvet in the main bedroom felt old and lumpy, which is shame because the bed itself was extremely comfy. Finally, who puts white curtains in a bedroom? We barely slept for 2 nights due to street lights and neighbours lights across the road. We eventually found some dark towels and used them as a screen. Please, get a blackout liner or blind. Despite a few niggles, it will definitely be on my list for any return visits to the area.
