    “This is our second stay here for a fortnight because the location is absolutely fabulous.”

    Again this year we had the Heron Egrets Oyster Catcher and for a special treat a Seal showed us how to catch fish. All viewed from the comfort of the balcony. One little point would like to mention that the glasses and crockery do need replacing.

Continue to Borth Y Gest, where you can spend a day at the beach, visit the Black Rock Llamas, or test out your swing at the excellent golf club.

Continue onto Caernarfon, where you will find the World Heritage Caernarfon Castle, a Segontium Roman Fort and the popular Black Boy Inn Restaurant and Bar.

Thrill seekers will not want to miss the opportunity to venture into the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, where they can embark up the famous peak, or tour underground mines at Zip World Llechwedd.

The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog lies on the Glaslyn Estuary and enjoys a stunning setting. The gateway to the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, Porthmadog is full of individual shops and restaurants, and home to the Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland railway where you can travel by steam through spectacular Eryri (Snowdonia) scenery, to Blaenau Ffestiniog or Caerforn . The pretty village of Borth Y Gest, with its cliffs and coves, is a short walk or drive from the town. The well known and unique Italianate village of Portmeirion is just down the coast. Situated on a rugged clifftop on its own private peninsula, Portmeirion, famous as the location of the TV show The Prisoner and the final episode of Cold Feet, is surrounded by miles of sandy beaches and woodlands.
