Morfa Nefyn 1 mile; Pwllheli 8 miles; Abersoch 8 miles.

The coastal village of Edern is on the northern coast of the Llyn Peninsula, and offers a butchers/general grocers, pubs and a pub/restaurant. Close by is Morfa Nefyn, which sits on top of sweeping cliffs and features a fine two-mile stretch of sandy beach, popular with families, along with a shop and a golf course. The towns of Pwllheli and Abersoch are within driving distance and boast a number of shops, pubs and restaurants. The Llyn Peninsula is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is renowned for its scenery and varied walking, with coastal paths being a major attraction for the avid walker. Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust, where you will find many remote bays, sandy beaches, cliffs and wildlife havens, plus the region is dotted with castles, whilst fishing, sailing and watersport activities are available. Also within easy reach are Portmeirion, the Isle of Anglesey and the Snowdonia National Park, with its dramatic scenery and superb walks.
