“Lovely property in a fantastic location in order the local area.”

Very clean and tidy with all the facilities you could need for a comfortable stay. Would certainly look to return in the future and would have no hesitation in recommending the property.

The property

A fantastic, modern, detached Criccieth cottage on a cul-de-sac in the centre of the town, with views to the beach and sea from the front of the property, and of Criccieth Castle to the side.

This Criccieth cottage has been tastefully furnished and offers spacious accommodation, while outside, open lawned gardens and a patio area are ideal for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine while the children play.

Criccieth has two superb beaches, one within 100 metres of this Criccieth cottage, which is perfect for swimming, watersports and rock-pooling, and if you are lucky, you may spot one of the visiting dolphins who enjoy the warm gulf stream that flows along this beautiful coast.

Situated on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, Criccieth is a delightful town with an array of shops, pubs and restaurants on your doorstep, as well as Criccieth Castle which was built in the 13th century and dominates the landscape on its rocky perch at one end of the town.

Other local attractions include the world-famous village of Portmeirion, the Italianate village where The Prisoner was filmed, or Porthmadog, home of the Ffestiniog Railway - an old steam train that takes you high into the Snowdonia range.

This Criccieth cottage is ideal for a family getaway, all year round.

CRICCIETH

Porthmadog 5 miles; Portmeirion 8 miles; Abersoch 15 miles.

Often described as the 'Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia’, this delightful seaside town is situated just 5 miles from Porthmadog. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Stroll along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the various pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream.
