The property

The Hideaway is a chic two-bedroom pod located in Rhoslan, Gwynedd, not far from the quaint coastal town of Criccieth. It is a great base for those wanting to get away from the everyday pressures of life and would be ideal for walkers, cyclists, golfers, or families looking to explore Gwynedd's beautiful beaches and countryside.

The pod, which sleeps four guests, has an open-plan living area, two mezzanine bedrooms (King and two singles) or a double sofa bed if you prefer. The modern kitchen has all the essentials and once your food is ready you can head to the indoor dining table or outside to the decked veranda and garden, which is perfect for al fresco meals. Back in the pod the cosy sitting room area has a Smart TV and a variety of board games.

The pod is completed with a modern shower area, sink and WC. Criccieth is just three miles down the road and offers a range of services including, various take-a ways, cafes and restaurants, a number of convenience stores, laundrette and petrol station. Criccieth also boasts an iconic castle overlooking the bay and beaches.

The bay itself is perfect for paddle boarding, kayaking and canoeing, all of which you can hire locally.

The Hideaway is the perfect base to explore the mystical castles, mountains of Snowdonia and bays and cove of the Llyn Peninsula.

Nearby attractions include: The Eisteddfa Fishery and Cafe, ideal for both novice and expert fisherman. The long sandy beach at Black Rock, especially popular with jet skiers. Visit Black Rock Llamas for a petting session near Morfa Bychan. The Porthmadog Links Golf Course, The Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways or the Snowdon Mountain railway, Maritime Museum in Porthmadog including a special area with activities for children. Portmeirion Village, which features boutique stores, eateries and family-friendly attractions. Travel a little further to visit the Velocity 2, the fastest zip line in the world also bounce below where, whatever the weather, you can jump, bounce and slide your way through a disused slate mine on the best playground.

Often described as the 'Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia’, this delightful seaside town is situated just 5 miles from Porthmadog. The town’s 13th-century castle perches majestically on a rocky outcrop, dominating the skyline and offering superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Stroll along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the various pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream. Further afield, attractions such as Portmeirion’s wonderful Italianate gardens, the Ffestiniog railway in Porthmadog, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle and the beautiful beaches and renowned golf courses of the Llyn Peninsula are all within an easy drive.
