Criccieth is a stunning town with a beach, ideal for watersports and wild swimming, as well as a range of pubs, eateries, and a convenience store.

Harlech is close by, offering another stunning sandy beach, a magnificent castle and independent shops selling local produce, for example ice cream and chocolates.

The property is also within a great location to visit Anglesey with its stunning shorelines and sea zoo, whilst the incredible Italian-style Portmeirion and the Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), where you can take part in many adrenaline-filled activities or hike to the top of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and take in the incredible views, are also within easy reach and worth a visit.

The town’s 13th-century castle perches majestically on a rocky outcrop, dominating the skyline and offering superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Stroll along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the various pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream. Further afield, attractions such as Portmeirion’s wonderful Italianate gardens, the Ffestiniog railway in Porthmadog, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle and the beautiful beaches and renowned golf courses of the Llyn Peninsula are all within an easy drive.
