“Thank you to the owners for a handy welcome pack of milk and cakes, which were perfect while we waited for our shopping delivery.”

(Some tea and various spices in kitchen too) A beautiful, comfortable house with plenty of space for our party of 10 on our annual "soup holiday" together. Lots to do in the area and great views. We really enjoyed our meal at No 51, otherwise mostly home cooking. NB the Aga takes a bit of getting used to, apart from a microwave, electric kettle and toaster there is no other means of cooking.

The property

Located on the beachfront promenade with coastal views looking out to the sea and hills ,11 Marine Terrace is a four-storey Victorian property with seemingly endless rooms, decorated with care and quality to be enjoyed in this lovely seaside town of Criccieth.

Perfectly suited for hosting a family gathering this property has seven bedrooms sleeping fifteen people, so why not start planning that reunion you've always talked about! At the front of the house is the sitting room overlooking the sea, with large bay windows adorned with wooden shutters adding character and privacy to this large building.

An electric flame-effect fire will warm you on a colder day, and the plush seating arrangement will invite you in to nestle down in front of a film on the Smart TV.

For those more adventurous there is the chance to ‘win the cup ‘on the table football French Doors lead out onto the Decking area at the rear of the property.

Passing through the dining area and into the kitchen you will love the farmhouse-style breakfast table in the centre where you can all gather around with your morning teas and coffee.

The country-style kitchen units with oak work top, large kitchen table and AGA cooker will be a joy to use when you are cooking up a large family meal in the evening, hopefully with some help!

There is also a built in Dishwasher and Wine Chiller in the kitchen to help take the strain.

Just off the kitchen is the utility containing more work top,a microwave, separate fridge and freezer and a washing machine.

On the first floor there is a second-sitting room where you can relax looking out on superb sea and mountain views.

Or catch a favourite film on a second Smart TV.

When sleep calls, you have seven bedrooms to choose from; three bedrooms on the first floor, three on the second-floor and the master bedroom taking its place on the third-floor, benefiting from an en-suite ( Shower , Basin and W/C ) and lounge area.

The views from the top floor are particularly special.

There is a Nespresso coffee machine and kettle located in this suite.

All bedrooms have black out blinds to offer a comfortable sleep.

All the rooms have storage for your personal items.

There is a bathroom with Shower / Basin / W/C and a separate shower room with Basin & W/C located on the first floor, as well as a ground-floor cloakroom with Basin and WC.

To the front there is a walled seating area with large picnic table to enjoy a glass of wine while you watch the world go by.

To the rear there is a slated courtyard with decking and a quiet top terrace with patio seating.

There is a lockable shed off the patio to house bicycles etc.

The back gate leads to the park with swings etc, a bowling green , pitch and putt A short walk that takes you to the railway station and the high street.

Appreciate the coastal air and the incredible views by visiting historic Criccieth Castle, prominent on tits own rocky headland , set opposite Harlech Castle , built and then destroyed by powerful Welsh princes, Take in some of the local history at these picturesque ruins.

Criccieth has two excellent Blue Flag beaches either side of the castle ; Marine Beach ,right in front of the house , is a mix of sand and pebbles and great for swimming.

It's also a favourite spot for anglers after Mackerel and Sea Bass. 11 Marine Terrace will be a wonderful seafront retreat for you and your loved ones.
