The property

Llandudno 1.5 miles.

Perched on the outskirts of Llandudno, North Wales and enjoying sea views is this charming, detached cottage of Bryn Goleu.

Enjoying a stone-built exterior and set across one floor while also being within easy reach of North Wales' best sights, Bryn Goleu is a fantastic getaway for a family of four.

Upon arrival, you'll be delighted to uncover ample off-road parking, making settling in and starting your break an easy task.

Make your way into the tastefully furnished open-plan living space, and make yourself at home in the sitting area, where a sofa and armchair allow you to unwind in front of the Smart TV.

After savouring some well-deserved relaxation, make your way to the shaker-style kitchen where a range of integrated appliances are available for you to make tasty dinners with, along with a handy washing machine and slimline dishwasher.

These dinners can be enjoyed at the dining table; alternatively, bring them out to the enclosed patio behind the property for an alfresco affair.

As the day winds to an end, retire to one of the two well-presented bedrooms, a double and a twin which is zip/link and can be super king-size on request, both of which boast Smart TVs as well as access to en-suite shower rooms, where contemporary fittings, including an illuminated vanity, await.

In the mornings, be sure to sit out on your front patio, a space which really encapsulates those coastal views, before heading over to the owner's guesthouse for a delicious breakfast (additional fee).

Get to know the lovely town of Llandudno, where the promenade offers leisurely strolls along the coast, with the delights of Llandudno Pier, North Shore Beach and the Craig-y-Don paddling pool waiting to be found; head further west to discover the delights of Great Orme Country Park, home to a ski centre, scenic walks, as well as a cable car station!

Catch the train to Conwy, a historic town packed with fascinating sights, including Conwy Castle, the town walls, as well as the delightful Bodlondeb Park.

Why not head to Colwyn Bay for even more coastal fun, where the town's sandy beach awaits, alongside the fantastic Welsh Mountain Zoo and the Bryn Euryn Nature Reserve?

There is so much more to see further afield, from the Isle of Anglesey to Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park; you'll rarely be bored here!

A marvellous stay all-year-round, choose Bryn Goleu.

About the location

LLANDUDNO

Conwy 4 miles, Colwyn Bay 6 miles, Snowdonia 20 miles.

Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme and it is these headlands, and the town's two waterfronts, that give this tourist resort its special appeal. The town offers two superb beaches - the North Shore, with its wide promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels and the quieter West Shore with miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes and superb views towards Anglesey. For the best views, however, you can reach the summit of the 679ft Great Orme using either the Great Orme Tramway or by taking an exciting cable car ride of over a mile. The town has an excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as Venue Cymru, which is North Wales' premier theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy and visiting orchestras, boasting a programme that is second to none - all this is just a stone's throw from the promenade. Just 4 miles away is the town of Conwy - a designated World Heritage Site. A true medieval gem, Conwy is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. Discover miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales coast and excellent walking and climbing in the Snowdonia National Park just 20 minutes' drive away - there's plenty to see and do!
