“My sister and I stayed here for a week.”

We were very pleased with this lovely cottage, it is in the perfect place, guide and private but just a short walk from the lovely town of Conwy. We were particularly inspired with the provisions left for us. We could have a cup of tea as soon as we arrived! The Cottage was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We loved Conwy, we visited Llandudno, Beaumaris, Rhos-on-Sea & climbed Snowdon. We had lovely meals in the local restaurant and cafes. In all, a perfect break, Thank you!

Wir goennen uns eine Auszeit, feiern das Leben, lassen uns im Hafen von Conwy die Meeresluft um die Nase wehen und stossen mit gutem Bier auf die Freundschaft an. In unserem Kurzurlaub liesen wir kein empfohlenes Highlight aus - von Victoria's Sponge Cake uber die Kegelrobben, Welsh beer, Sticky toffee pudding und Coast Path Tour bis hin zum traumhaften Anglesey Beach. Dieses hubsche Hauschen hier war der perfekte Ausgangspunkt dafur. Ein herzliches Dankeschon an die lieben Gastgeber! Andrea, Kathrin und Lise

This house is so homely and clean! Everything we could have needed. Met a lovely dog called caspar too round the corner and it's in a prime location to get to the bay (7min) station (5min) and bus (3min). From NDCS guys!!!

“It was lovely - we loved how peaceful it was while being right near the railway station, town centre and sea front.”

The cottage was cosy and comfortable and had everything that we needed. We particularly loved the local woollen cushions and throws! Conwy is a great place for a holiday - we all want to come back because we only did a fraction of the things that the area has to offer.

“I visited the cottage with my two sisters recently it was just perfect.”

We were on a reminiscence trip to Conwy as we stayed many times as children on Bryn Morfa Caravan Park. The cottage was just as described. We particularly enjoyed the garden which was so quiet and peaceful even though we were so near the centre. We will definitely be recommending the cottage and visiting again.

“Great stay in excellent cottage.”

Tucked away and quiet, but only 5 minutes walk from town. Nice garden to sit out in. Very clean, with modern appliances. Thanks for leaving lots of basics such as salt/sugar/cooking oil/tea bags etc (shame that so many don't!), not to mention more than one toilet roll! Would definitely stay again, and recommend to others. One minor suggestion - lower the telly!

“Morfa View has been perfect for our family holiday this week!”

Clean, comfy and cosy and more! Perfect location - close to town, but also easy to access other locations! We particularly enjoyed Bodnant Gardens and if you have children - Zip World! Bakery next to sweet shop does amazing donuts and cafe next to the library is the perfect breakfast stop! We hope to visit again! Ness, Will & Otto

“2 Morfa View is comfortable, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated - we particularly appreciated the Welsh wool cushions and throws, woven locally.”

The cottage is very conveniently situated just outside the town walls with all the sights, pubs and shops of Conwy within a few minutes walk. We had no difficulty finding the property or parking nearby. The location does mean that there’s occasional noise from the surrounding houses (yapping dogs etc) but the garden gives a feel of seclusion. We would have preferred to know in advance that 1 & 2 Morfa View share the same front path (it came as a bit of a surprise!) but this has little practical impact as the neighbour is friendly and quiet. One other minor point actually had more of an impact on my enjoyment. I had assumed the fridge would have a small freezer compartment for ice cubes, but it didn’t. As the weather was unseasonably warm, we missed being able to have chilled drinks in the evening. We would happily stay again - if there were a different fridge!

“The property would benefit from a deep clean, dust under furniture, lots of cobwebs, shower curtain was stained and there were lots of wood lice in the bathroom.”

The futon sofa’s were very uncomfortable. The stairs are very steep, my 90 year old mother struggled to get up them. Parking charge for the week was £50, no alternative. The property was hard to find.

The free parking alternatives are mentioned in the property description, otherwise you can choose to use the pay and display option. The property is tucked away from the main road, but this is what gives it its privacy, with a private garden. Menai cottages are always contactable during your stay if there are any issues. The town centre is just down the road and it's only a 30 minute drive from all the main places to visit in North Wales. “We had a lovely time, only problem was finding the cottage when we arrived.”

It was pouring with rain and we had to walk around to find it. Probably because of all the building work as the small entrance was concealed behind a car and a skip. This was the only negative though. We loved the decor and all the facilities. Took a while to get the heating sorted, was freezing on arrival and then too hot once I changed the boiler times. We would definitely return. The house is so well stocked , we had everything and more than expected.

“We've spent some wonderful days in Morfa View Cottage.”

It is lovely and cosy and we immediately felt at home. We particularly liked the design of the cottage with all the beautiful furnishings. The house is also well equipped. But the best part is the garden, an oasis of peace. We enjoyed the terrace almost everyday. Having breakfast in the morning or a drink on an evening. Arriving without a car, we were not sure how we could assess sites further afield. It worked out really fine and we were able to get everywhere by public transport. The lady in the tourist office was also really helpful to find the right connections. We'll definitely be back.

Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is without doubt world famous for its historical and architectural heritage, yet at the heart of the town lies a hub of bustling activity. Alongside its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions, there is an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, Master James of St George's design, Conwy Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. The distinctive, elongated shape, with its two barbicans, eight massive towers and a great bow-shaped hall was perhaps determined by the narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands.
