    “It was absolutely perfect.”

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The host was lovely and helped us feel welcome. Even helped us navigate our way there after it had snowed. We would love to go back and have told all our family and friends about the cottage.

A trio of extraordinarily well-finished stone-built cottages just outside of Clocaenog in Denbighshire in North Wales. These are three incredible cottages in a superb location. All similar in style with oak-clad walls, ground sourced underfloor heating, exposed wooden beams and brickwork. They all come with well-equipped, modern kitchens and comfortable sitting rooms with large sofas, some of them even electrically reclined. All of the bedrooms are en-suite and have TVs as well as some fantastic features to give these cottages an even more charming feel. The property has an eight-seater hot tub, gym-style wetroom, basin and WC to make this cottage complex just that bit more impressive. About the location

RUTHIN

Llangollen 12 miles; Bala 18.5 miles; Chester 25 miles; Betws-y-Coed 30 miles.

The hilltop town of Ruthin lies to the north of Llangollen via the breathtaking Horseshoe Pass. The town is picturesque with attractive half-timbered buildings, mainly clustered around St Peter’s Square. There are many interesting shops and buildings, whilst the Nant Clwyd House (the oldest timber frame in Wales), Ruthin Gaol and Ruthin Craft Centre, which houses work by internationally recognised artists and craftspeople, are also worth a visit. Beautiful countryside is on Ruthin’s doorstep with Lake Brenig, Moel Famau Country Park and Clocaenog Forest close by. Further afield, but still within easy touring distance, are the coast, Snowdonia National Park and historic Chester.

Please note: No smoking in the property and no shisha- hookah allowed as well. Thank you.
