Cefn Coed Holiday Cottages

Nestled in the hills surrounding the village of Chwilog on North Wales’ Llyn Peninsula, are the delightful Cefn Coed Holiday Cottages. These beautifully converted properties were once stone outbuildings, but have been carefully restored and modernised with their charming original features and tasteful contemporary décor complementing one another perfectly. The detached cottages offer their guests enclosed private gardens with lawn and furnished patio areas, as well as the use of a shared communal garden and a children’s play area with trampoline. The area is fantastic for outdoor sports and walking, with the beaches of the Llyn Peninsula and the Snowdonia National Park in close proximity. There are plenty of walking trails close to the property, including the popular Lon Goed footpath, which passes along part of the driveway to the cottages. The quiet village of Chwilog is just under a mile away and Llanystumdwy, the village made famous for being the childhood home to former Prime Minister David Lloyd George, is a five-minute drive. Close by are the popular coastal resorts of Pwllheli, Criccieth and Abersoch, all offering fantastic beaches and plenty of places to eat and drink. Abersoch is a popular destination for those with a passion for sailing, with Regattas being held at the town for nearly 140 years. Criccieth is a pretty little town often regarded as ‘the pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia’, it is populated by characterful Victorian buildings and a medieval castle. Pwllheli is a bustling market town boasting a number of shops, eateries and a marina as well as a cinema and a leisure centre with swimming pool in case the weather turns.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £300.
