    “The Lodge was lovely setting gorgeous the only thing and others ave said it to the bedrooms cold and feel damp as radiators not very good but rest lodge lovely and warm in the summer probably won't need heating so it's just something for owners to try fix .”

Situated in the pretty village of Church Bay on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey in North Wales is Bwthyn Y Bae Lodge.

This well-presented lodge is conveniently located within easy reach of the local beaches and attractions and offers plenty of home comforts for an enjoyable family holiday any time of year.

Stepping into the lodge, the sitting room invites you in to kick off your shoes and settle in to watch the Sky TV with the electric fire warming the space around you.

From here, make your way to the kitchen to whip a meal for your group with the gas oven and hob before gathering at the dining table to feast and plan another day of fun-filled activities.

As the evening draws to a close, venture off to the bedrooms to rest your head; the lodge hosts a double with an en-suite shower room and a twin, each fit with quality beds and storage so you can unpack your belongings.

Guests will also benefit from a family bathroom with both a shower and a bath, where you can choose to indulge in a soak or have a quick rinse off after a day at the beach.

In the summer months, take advantage of the charcoal barbecue on the decking and cook your meals alfresco, or simply savour your morning coffee sitting at the outdoor dining table and chairs.

If you don't fancy cooking at all, The Lobster Pot is just a short walk away and boasts a delicious fresh seafood menu.

If you are looking for a light bite before heading out on an excursion, Wavecrest Café is also within walking distance.

Brush up on your local history at the Swtan Heritage Museum, home to an impressive herb garden and small orchard with old Welsh varieties.

Take some time to stroll along the shores and soak up the sun with picture-perfect sea views at Traeth Ynys y Fydlyn beach, which is just a short drive or long scenic walk away from the lodge.

The small village of Llanfaethlu nestles close to the stunning, north west coastline of Anglesey. Amidst spectacular cliffs and sandy beaches, this unassuming village provides a local shop and Post Office, whilst nearby Church Bay boasts a superb seafood restaurant. Wales' only working windmill is within easy reach, providing an opportunity to see corn being ground the old fashioned way, whilst the surrounding countryside boasts excellent fishing, birdwatching and coastal walks, with climbing on offer in Snowdonia. Indulge in fabulous watersports, including kitesurfing, diving and sailing at the stunning Rhosneigr beach, or enjoy 18 holes at a choice of three local golf courses. Spend the day at Anglesey Sea Zoo, visit the historic town of Beaumaris with its medieval castle and array of shops and restaurants, take a boat trip past Plas Newydd Country House or indulge in a day trip to Ireland.
