    “A beautiful property full of character.”

    Very cosy feel to the original building, with the bonus of a bright and spacious conservatory for dining/relaxing. The owner left some Halloween activities for our 2 children, and their niece baked for us too, which was greatly appreciated by all of us. Lots of games in the living room cupboard and a library of DVDs helped to keep us entertained. A lovely quiet spot to return to after our days out exploring the nearby attractions - Bodnant garden, Penrhyn Castle, the Welsh Mountain zoo, ...

Within proximity to local amenities and a short car journey from the beach, the cottage boasts original stone walls, beamed ceilings, lovely outdoor space and a homely interior, and welcomes four guests; perfect for all types of visitors.

Benefit from a well-equipped country-style kitchen, where you can prepare home cooked meals, before retiring to the suntrap conservatory to dine as a group.

Relax in the inviting sitting room, featuring plush seating, a woodburning stove, TV, and a selection of books, ahead of catching the last of the sunshine in the decked garden, or enjoying an evening tipple in the local pub.

Once you're ready to explore the neighbouring town of Old Colwyn which boasts a fantastic bakery and butchers, select from an array of pubs, restaurants, shops, and cafés, perfect for easing your self-catering stay.

Enjoy a seaside stroll across the resident beach, where you can also dine at Bryn Williams Restaurant, explore the shoreline by bike, possible to hire from the centre of Colywn Bay, or take up the chance to wind surf, before exploring further hot spots, including Fairy Glen woodland and the family attraction of Welsh Mountain Zoo.

On route, stop off at Rhos on Sea, a seaside resort dotted with family-friendly attractions, before travelling into Llandudno, where you can stroll down Llandudno Pier, tour the Great Orme Mines through the self-guided tunnels, or enjoy a sweet treat at the Llandudno Chocolate Experience.

Old Colwyn is a sleepy seaside town located to the east of the larger coastal resort of Colwyn Bay. A wide promenade winds along the sweeping bay from Old Colwyn to Penrhyn Bay, with access to a long coastal cycle track, three miles of safe sandy beaches and the pier and harbour at Rhos-on-Sea. Nearby attractions include the famous Welsh Mountain Zoo, Eirias Park with its fantastic indoor and outdoor leisure facilities, a number of local golf courses, and a selection of restaurants and pubs in both Old Colwyn and Colwyn Bay.
