Nestled on the outskirts of Edern and just one mile from Morfa Nefyn, Gwynedd is this superb detached, spaceous and private four-bedroom dwelling, Llwyn Celyn.

The house is ideally situated for families, walkers, golfers, and open water swimmers.

The house benefits from ample off-road parking, fine views over open fields to the sea, a large patio and an all round garden.

It has a large and comfortable lounge with an open fire and 50 inch smart TV.

The dining room is also large and can easily seat 10.

The kitchen is very well equipped, and all four bedrooms are nice and comfortable.

The two bathrooms are modern and practical.

The coastal path is a short 1km walk (or run!) up the lane with two excellent and secluded small coves to swim at.

There are fantastic local opportunities for walking, running, open water swimming, or a family day on the the beach.

The house has a comprehensive folder with outdoor ideas that the owners and their family have enjoyed over many years Keen golfers can head to Clwb Golff Nefyn Golf Club where you can pass the time playing rounds with stunning coastal views in the distance.

Walks from the house lead you to the lovely beaches of Lifeboat bay, Morfa Nefyn, and Nefyn as well as the famous Ty Coch Inn.

Families can spend their days relaxing upon one of the many fine sandy beaches around the peninsula.

Visit the Amgueddfa Forwrol Llyn Maritime Museum, The Welsh Language school (Nant Gwrtheyrn), or explore any number of excellent hikes along the coastal path.

Swimming, cycling, and sailing are also excellent in the area.

The larger holiday resorts of Abersoch, Aberdaron, Criccieth, Pwllheli, and Porthmadog are all nearby.

Further afield you can journey to the Snowdonia National Park where you’ll discover world class hiking, heritage railways, slate mines, copper mines, Zip world, Portmeirion and a host of other tourist destinations.

Anglesey is also easily within reach of a day trip.

Eight to ten people can enjoy a relaxing escape to Wales with a stay at Llwyn Celyn.

MORFA NEFYN

Nefyn 1.5 miles; Pwllheli 7 miles; Abersoch 11 miles.

The pretty coastal village of Morfa Nefyn sits atop sweeping cliffs on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula, and features a fine two-mile stretch of sandy beach, popular with families. Morfa Nefyn, has a garage, a wonderful village shop with a cafe, two pubs and restaurants. The nearby town of Nefyn also offers a selection of shops, post office, pubs and restaurants, and both are within reach of the amenities of the popular towns of Pwllheli, Abersoch and the charming village of Boduan. The coastline around this region is dotted with castles and coves, while fishing, sailing and watersports are all available. The Snowdonia National Park is 25 miles away, with its dramatic scenery and superb walks, and many outdoor activity centers for the more energetic visitors. Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches, cliffs, and wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore. The Llyn Peninsula is itself renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking, and features a 91 mile long section of the Welsh Coastal Path that extends from nearby Porthmadog all the way around the peninsula to Caernarfon on the north coast. Also within easy reach are Portmeirion, the Isle of Anglesey, Caernarfon and Bangor. With its proximity to such a wide range of destinations, Morfa Nefyn makes a superb base for a break.
