“Loved the property and have already booked again for next year .”

Views were lovely and surrounding area very peaceful. One small niggle is that the settee and chair in the lounge is very low and is difficult to get up from and I did find that this exacerbated my lower back pain through the week. Also there was no hand wash in the upstairs bathrooms . I would definitely recommend this property to others , well situated, great outdoor area and a well equipped kitchen

The property

Min Y Nant is a beautiful detached house nestled in the thriving village of Abersoch.

Min Y Nant is the ideal base for a family of six seeking a trip to the coast, with sea views from the front of the home and being just a stone's throw away from the village's main street.

When you arrive, you will be greeted by three parking places before entering your home-away-from-home.

The open-plan living area has been tastefully designed; you'll notice this most in the sitting area, which features stylish furnishings such as a huge corner sofa, as well as a TV with Sky Plus and a sought-after woodburning stove.

Step over to the sleek kitchen with everything you'll need for your self-catering stay, plus some excellent extras like a wine chiller and a washing machine; the kitchen also has a breakfast bar, which is a great place to socialise.

Enjoy a scrumptious meal prepared by the group's chef at a nearby dining table, where you can pop open a bottle of bubbly and toast to this incredible vacation.

Alternatively, the rear yard is a lovely place to enjoy an alfresco affair, simply relax in the sun; it also has a stone-built grill and an enclosed lawn where your animal friend can run around.

As the day draws to a close, two well-appointed bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, await you on the ground floor.

Venture up the stairs to the first floor to discover the master bedroom, where you may rest your head on a super-king-size bed and enjoy access to built-in storage and an en-suite shower room.

The remaining bedrooms share a gorgeous bathroom with a cloakroom; you may take a luxury soak in the bath or a refreshing rinse in the curved, glass shower.

Travel a short distance into Abersoch's heart to visit two spectacular beaches, which are home to a Sailing Club, Yacht Club, and Sailing School; after making the most of the sun and sand, why not play a round of golf at the nearby club or enjoy a delicious meal at the highly rated Zinc Café Bar & Grill?

Walking aficionados will appreciate the access to its hiking area and magnificent sea views in Llanbedrog, before proceeding to the village centre to find the wide Llanbedrog Beach, as well as its great beachside restaurant, Aqua.

Make the most of your vacation by venturing further afield to Uwchmynydd, where you'll find walks stretching over Mynydd Mawr that take you through a birdwatching area and Arfordir Treftadaeth Penrhyn Lln; after walking along the headland, head to Aberdaron for a spot of sunbathing on the village's beach.

There is so much more to see on the Lln Peninsula; take a walk along the Lln Coastal Path to discover the charming communities that dot its coastlines, such as Trefor, Pwllheli, and Criccieth, to mention a few.

Choose Min Y Nant for a beach getaway with something for everyone, whether it's resting, sailing, or walking.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £200.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
