Photo of back of house did not reflect current state. It says you can park 2 cars - not sure where you would park the second one as it is a small driveway.
Next door one way with barking dogs other side large family with washing drapped over the garden hedges to dry.
No hairdryer . had to put heating on to dry towels as the towel rail in bathroom was part of central heating.
Very expensive for what it is - double bed was very flimsey and made noises everytime you moved. Good job we are not large people or i think it would have collapsed. has 6 beds but only one bathroom , wouldnt like to be in it with 6 people. Water pressure very low upstairs. dont try running a tap or flushing the loo while you are having a shower
Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry that your holiday didn't meet your expectations. Regarding your scoring, we strive to provide comfortable and well-equipped accommodation. I don't know what is missing to warrant only a 50% score for facilities and a 25% score for comfort. That conflicts with the previous guest, who scored 100% for both. We’re pleased with the 100% score for cleanliness, we have a new housekeeper this year, who is doing a great job. Regarding your comments:
1) The hall, kitchen, lounge, stairs and landing were recently decorated. The stairs and landing carpet was changed last year. The front door, bathroom vinyl and lounge curtains are new this year.
2) In terms of the back of the house, the only difference to the images are the table and chairs.
3) For car parking, there is space for one car on the drive and one on the road immediately outside of the property - we have changed the property description to reflect this.
4) The house adjoins two neighbours. One has 2 dogs, which are not noisy. The other is entitled to dry their clothes in their own garden.
5) We provide an airer and tumble dryer for drying clothes and towels.
6) We do not believe that the price is excessive as pricing is determined through market pricing and trends with bookings, as it is a 3-bed property this may seem excessive as your are booking the property not the number of guests.
7) I’ve checked the bed and it isn’t as you’ve stated. I and have been told by previous and current guests that it is still very comfortable, no issues at all.
8) In terms of the suitability for 6 guests, when booking there is full awareness that there is only the one bathroom.
9) There was an issue with the water pressure due to a leak in the area, that has now been resolved.
