“A wonderful cottage and we had a fabulous stay.”

One of the most welcoming holiday homes I’ve stayed in. The welcome card and gift was lovely to have. I would most definitely return.

The property

A superb double fronted cottage, located amidst beautiful countryside in the village of Llan Ffestiniog, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park.

With wonderful views across the open fields towards the Moelwyn, the Mountain Range and the surrounding rural landscapes, this Llan Ffestiniog cottage is ideal for those wishing to get away from it all.

It offers the perfect base for exploring the wild and rugged landscapes and stunning scenery of North Wales, ideally set up for a couple, friends, families and outdoor enthusiasts.

Presented and well-maintained to a high standard, retaining character and charm with exposed beams complementing the contemporary interior, tastefully furnished and decorated throughout with some wonderful eye catching detail, muted tones and splashes of colour, lovely soft fabrics and warm lighting.

The sitting room is spacious with a wonderful wood burning stove, a great place for everyone to sit, chat and relax after a busy day walking for a moment's peace and quiet, there is always the cosy snug to retire to and read that book you've been meaning to finish.

Moving through the property you will find a well-equipped kitchen, boasting everything you could possibly need to cater to your culinary needs.

Two steps lead up to the dining room where you can enjoy a quick breakfast before heading out for the day or a family meal together in the evening, as well as the utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Upstairs are three bedrooms, all individually designed with splashes of colours, soft lighting and well-presented beds, ensuring a good night's sleep.

The family bathroom boasts a bath with shower over, basin and WC.

Outside, there is parking for one car and a large garden at the rear with patio area and furniture, which provides somewhere to enjoy a glass of something on a warm summer's evening.

Village facilities are all within walking distance, the village pub has a good selection of wine and real ales and the thriving historic town of Blaenau Ffestiniog is only four miles away and is becoming increasingly popular amongst those seeking some thrills!

Look forward to Zip World Titan, the longest zip wire in Europe, Bounce Below and Zip Caverns, a subterranean system of trampolines and zip wires deep underground.

There are some lovely walks from the doorstep, a favourite is to Cynfal Falls, a wonderful dramatic waterfall hidden away in the wooded valley of the Cynfal River, and the spectacular gorge is within the Ceunant Cynfal National Nature Reserve.

A little further afield, why not visit the Italian village and gardens of Portmeirion, together with historic castles and sandy beaches all within a scenic drive.

This charming cottage is ideally placed and provides a great base for a holiday or short break anytime of the year.
