The property

2 Banc Llugwy enjoys a superb setting in the heart of the bustling town of Betws-y-Coed in North Wales, and is an appealing, traditional terraced cottage which is ideal for a family or couples looking for a getaway to Conwy.

Step up to the front door and you are greeted by a warm and welcoming sitting room which comes complete with period features such as original beams and traditional stone walls which together with the woodburning stove, help to create a really inviting ambience.

You can look forward to curling up on the sofas here, getting warm in front of the stove and spending time together or just tuning in and chilling out watching TV.

Whatever you choose to do, this is a really relaxing space.

The kitchen is well fitted with everything you need to be able to produce delicious food for the holiday party and when it’s ready to serve up, the dining room is the perfect spot to gather round the table, tuck into dinner together and enjoy quality holiday time.

Should the weather allow it, then the rear garden is a particular feature with lawns, a patio area, patio furniture and a covered barbecue area, somewhere you can imagine spending lots of time alfresco.

If you’re still feeling energetic then why not challenge each other to a game of table football?

Make your way up the cottage stairs and you can choose from the delightful master bedroom or the attractive twin bedroom.

Come the morning and you’re in pole position for the best day out with loads of fantastic walks and hikes from the front door.

Stroll into the town itself which is known as the ‘gateway to Snowdonia’ and you need to plan a day trip to Snowdonia National Park, where there are walks for all abilities.

The famous spectacular Swallow Falls are just a few miles away and are definitely worth a visit as is Zip World which offers activities for everyone aged three and up.

Towns in the area worth a visit include Conwy, Caernarfon and ever-popular Llandudno.
