The property

This spacious, detached holiday house is located in Benllech, on the gorgeous Isle of Anglesey, just a short walk from the village centre and beaches.

The house is a typical Arts and Crafts style.

Built in 1910 with wonderful views across the valley towards the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia) and sea views down over the Benllech beach plus a particularly large country garden.The house has recently been lovingly restored.

With off-road parking for five cars, a Rolec car charger and great access to the attractions dotted throughout the Isle of Anglesey and its Coastal Path, Neuadd Wen is a superb stay for a large group of up to 11 guests.

Escape to North Wales, with a private country garden over-looked by a forest and frequented by red squirrels.

After a day of exploring the stunning coastline, relax in the lounge, which features two beautiful couches next to a wood burning fireplace and a Freeview TV with wifi connection and all the apps you will ever need for amusement.

Head into the kitchen, where the group's chef may use the appliances and demonstrate their culinary prowess with a big feast, while the others set the table with dishes and silverware, possibly opening a bottle of bubbly.

There is a wonderful local butcher in Benllech and a sea food shop which opens seasonally.

The dining area next to the kitchen is very spacious and features a stunning solid oak table with room for 12 people.

In the conservatory, relax with a good book, or enjoy some board games.

The utility room is very well equipped with a new washing machine and tumble dryer.

All the bedrooms are beautifully furnished, good sized and very well proportioned.The first bedroom is located downstairs and features twin beds that can be converted to a super-king-size double, making it suitable for guests with limited mobility. The larger sofa in the lounge converts easily to a very high quality bed settee with a pocket sprung double mattress, making total sleeping spaces for up to 11 people. On the ground level, there is also a bathroom with an option of bath or shower.

Upstairs, choose from a king-size room with TV, two twin rooms with linkable beds, or a charming single, all of which are serviced by a sparkling shower room.

In the lovely country garden, encompassing half an acre you will find a full sized children's play set for the younger members of the party but will allow a tranquil start your day with a cup of freshly brewed coffee at the picnic table for 12 the perfect place to get away from the noise and bustle and plan your day ahead. When the weather permits.

Enjoy the new garden room whatever the weather with its football table and full-size darts board.

or if the weather is kind use the extra garden furniture and beach toys stored in there. When the weather permits, Traeth Benllech and Red Wharf Bay, both very beautiful beaches are only a short distance away, great for a day of sandcastle building, relaxing with a good book, and getting a tan; there's something for everyone!

Red Wharf Bay is a particularly lovely 15-minute walk from the house. Also recommended for kids is the nearby Pili Palas Nature World, with all sorts of animals and a petting corner.

The close proximity of Storws Wen Golf Club, an outstanding 9-hole course, will thrill the keen putters in your group.

If you don't feel like cooking, take the company to one of the village's restaurants or bars, which cater to a wide range of tastes.The best foodie pub in Wales is the Bull in Beaumaris.

Or the family friendly Ship Pub in Red Wharf Bay has the best fish and chips on the island. Explore the ruins of The Lligwy Cromlech, Capel Lligwy, Din Lligwy, and the Old Fishermen's Cottages at Moelfre, or head to Beaumaris, a thriving seaside town with a quaint high-street, a stunning 12th century castle, 17th century Court-House and Gaol, and a lovely pier suitable for crab fishing.

If speed and excitement is for you, take a high powered rib ride with the family from Beaumaris.It will certainly stir your blood. Neuadd Wen is in a fantastic location for exploring Anglesey and North Wales at any time of year.

Benllech has a beautiful, long and sandy beach, much favoured by families, with a slipway allowing easy access for all. A variety of shops and cafés front the beach, with a picnic area to the side, whilst the village centre offers more shops, pubs, hotels and restaurants. The setting promises to suit every taste, with the village itself ideal for family holidays, whilst the rural setting offers peace and easy access to the coast, rural Anglesey and of course the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia.
