The property

Situated within a quiet residential estate, close to the centre of the village of Benllech on the isle of Anglesey, is Hardy Cottage, a charming bungalow, recently renovated fully for the 2021 season, boasting distant sea views and within walking distance of the beach and a host of amenities, ideal for a family or group of friends wanting to explore the delightful island and coastline of Anglesey.

Step inside the property to be greeted by a bright and airy living room, with wooden flooring, white walls and dual aspect windows allowing in lots of light, and take a seat on the leather sofa as you unwind in front of the TV or enjoy a family game night with one of the provided games, alternatively, grab a good book and curl on the armchair for a peaceful evening.

Head into the well-equipped kitchen diner, the social hub of the home, kitted out with all of the appliances you will need to create fantastic meals, to be enjoyed together at the dining table; there is even a dishwasher to take car of the washing up.

The utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer, ideal for washing swimwear after a day at the beach, while the shower room allows you to clean up after a long day of adventure.

Use the Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser and pour yourself an indulgent hot chocolate to take to bed with you, choosing from two doubles and a twin room to catch your rest in.

The property boasts distant sea views and an immaculate front lawn, while at the back of the property you will find a second garden, perfect for alfresco dining in the summertime.

Take advantage of your central location and discover a host of shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance, along with Benllech's Blue Flag awarded beach, boasting a large stretch of golden sand, a handful of beachside cafés and a picnic area, making it a very popular spot for families.

Explore the magnificent Isle of Anglesey further by heading to the nearby village of Moelfre, grabbing an ice cream and strolling along the harbour, paying a visit to the RNLI Lifeboat Station.

Venture along the coastal path, taking in the magnificent beaches and rocky coves of Rhosneigr and Trearddur Bay, popular for surfing and other watersports, and stopping off at the South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve, a nature lover's dream.

The historic town of Beaumaris is further afield, resting on the Menai Strait and overlooking the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountain range, home to a medieval castle, Victorian pier, gaol and courthouse and diverse architecture.

Cross the Menai Bridge towards the mainland and find the university and cathedral town of Bangor, boasting shops, pubs, restaurants and bars, while the magnificent Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park offers walkers, cyclists and hikers incredible mountainous terrain to explore, including Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Wales' highest peak.

Benllech has a beautiful, long and sandy beach, much favoured by families, with a slipway allowing easy access for all. A variety of shops and cafés front the beach, with a picnic area to the side, whilst the village centre offers more shops, pubs, hotels and restaurants. The setting promises to suit every taste, with the village itself ideal for family holidays, whilst the rural setting offers peace and easy access to the coast, rural Anglesey and of course the spectacular mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia).
