“This property had a mixed review from us Check out 10am was too early and check in 4pm was a little late you’re virtually missing 2 days.”

Thanks for your feedback, in the quieter months when guests have contacted us to request an earlier checkin or a later checkout we have tried to accommodate and there is no need to wash and clean everything as we employ professional cleaners between every guests stay. Hopefully see you again. Property Owner

The property

A delightful detached cottage located just a short walk from Abersoch’s sandy beach, ideal for families or groups of friends, with homely, comfortable and well-equipped accommodation for up to eight guests.

Discover the inviting sitting room, complete with ample seating for all the family to settle down and reminisce over the day’s events; the second sitting room offers a quieter spot to break away from others, perhaps indulging in a good book or some television.

Walk on through to the modern kitchen, complete with integrated appliances so the chef amongst the group can easily prepare delicious meals.

Also downstairs is a cloakroom, WC and a boot utility room, handy if your adventure trails off on a muddier route.

Moving upstairs you’ll find the four well-appointed bedrooms, consisting of two doubles, both with an en-suite shower room, one with pleasant views towards the beach and two twins, all served by a delightful family bathroom.

Outside and to the front is a patio area with seating for eight, a sunny spot to enjoy a refreshing drink or perhaps some alfresco dining and a luxurious hot tub at side of the property for you to unwind in.

There's also a decking area with a rattan seating area to the side of the property and a seating area on the bank at the rear of the property with fantastic views of the harbour beach and bay with views towards Snowdonia on sunny days. With Abersoch’s golden beach just a few minutes’ walk away, Castell is perfect for those who want to make the most of the stunning coastline.

Spend your days paddling in the water, sunbathing on the beach or traversing the wonderful cliff-top walks and hidden coves.

Explore the Llyn Peninsula and enjoy its excellent cycling routes and renowned link golf courses with Abersoch Golf Club being just a mile away.

Just over six miles away is the town of Pwllheli, which offers shops, pubs, restaurants, a marina and two beaches.

Also within easy reach is Cricceith, a lovely town with a castle and beach, and beyond that the famous Portmeirion village.

If you fancy a more challenging adventure, then the incredible Snowdonia National Park is 40 minutes away, home to some of the tallest peaks in Britain.

A delightful accommodation in a wonderful seaside location.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
