Very comfortable and clean house, a real home from home. Fully enjoyed our family stay with the unseasonably warm sunny weather. Short walk to the beach, shop, coastal walks and pubs. Very informative information pack and nice welcome pack, nothing too much trouble from the lovely owners. Would definitely look at a return visit. Many thanks

“There's only a bowl and a cup that's been left out.”

.....that's obviously an oversight from us especially when they can see there was a dishwasher been used to clean other plates and dishes throughout the weekend. A pan with oil should also not be the cause of distress to domestic staff. We have stayed in a number of places in the past and nobody has ever requested us to take the linen off the beds.....we didn't even know we had to have a thourough read of the handbook.....if it was such a mandatory requirement, they should have had signs on the walls or bedside to remind occupiers of the requirements. It's not like it takes much effort for us to do this. Seems excessive to charge additional 30 and put us on a list for these minor errors. Its more of a dissappointnent for us that they feel its acceptable to use language to suggest that these little issues caused "distress" and can be seen to obviously have been over exaggeration from the cleaner. If they cannot see that these were unintentional occurrences, then Paham is not a place we would want to return to in future and will not be recommending to anyone either.

“What a beautiful house.”

The nicest, cleanest and most comfortable home from home I've ever rented. We were unlucky with the weather and I think if we'd been anywhere else we would have returned home to the comforts of home. “We had a wonderful three generation family holiday in this beautiful house.”

Children entertained with the games room and walking on the beach. It's a short but steep hill down to the village so not good for anyone with limited mobility, but the grandparents were happy to relax in the house admiring the gorgeous view. It was beautifully clean and you are welcomed with cake, bread , milk, tea and coffee. Thanks Mags for a wonderful stay

“Everything was perfect at Paham including a warm welcome with Welsh cakes!”

The house is extremely comfortable; well equipped and very weatherproof even when howling winds and torrential rain, the house was solid and safe with not a draught or rattle to be heard, making it extra toasty and cozy indoors! I loved the conservatory and spent hours reading and enjoying the beautiful views whilst Martin went out and about exploring! We had a fabulous time, thank you!

The views are just gorgeous & it's lovely to just be able to walk down into the village of Aberdaron ,where there are cafes ,pubs ,a fish & chip shop & a spa.The beach is also right there .Although I've never met the owners Mags has been nothing but helpful & the welcome Bara Brith etc is a nice touch. “We absolutely loved staying at Paham.”

The property was spacious, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Lovely little touches, like the delicious Bara Brith left for us. The sea views were stunning and it was great that we could walk down to the beach and village in a couple of minutes. Had an issue with the shower fitting in the main bathroom coming off the wall and this was fixed the day after we reported it. Beautiful house in a beautiful village. Hope that we can return very soon!

“A fantastic holiday home and an ideal place to stay.”

This was our second visit to Paham and we thoroghly enjoyed our time there, despite the not-so-good weather, we weren't disappointed as we were prepared for it and planned our activities accordingly. The odd day we did stay in the house we found it had everything we needed, and also with the advantage of being able to relax in the spacious lounge area or taking in the views from the fantastic conservatory. The house was also well equipped and very clean. We certainly made the best of our stay and look forward to planning a visit again next year.

“The accommodation is one of the nicest Sykes properties we have stayed in.”

It has such a homely, relaxing feel about it and the views are fabulous. It was very clean on arrival and has everything you could need supplied. The communication with the host was excellent both prior to and during our stay. Our only recommendation for improvement would be a dining table that can comfortably sit 8 people. We will definitely return!

Fully equipped and good quality. Bedding and towels cosy. View were stunning from the lounge and conservatory. Weather was good so we were able to use the decking. Two, observations. One, the windows could do with cleaning and a parasol for the decking would be useful, otherwise superb place to stay.

“Amazing Stay We stayed at Paham for the week, very well equipped with everything you need for your stay - plus things for the dog - the beds are so comfy, plenty of space and the views are amazing.”

The games room was great, with pool played most days, the kids loved that room while we could relax in the conservatory! A short walk down into Aberdaron and the beach, great coastal walks and short drives to areas as well. Hopefully we’ll be back again sometime.

“The property was very roomy and as a gathering of three generations many sometimes wanting their own space I think it fair to say the accommodation was ample for the job.”

The weather was a little less agreeable but the house made up for anything lacking outside. Clean, tidy and spacious with ample individual areas for all. Views were great over the bay and village with comfy seating in all areas. A brief journey by car to railway station and with enjoyable ride over the whole coast.

The owners Mags and Chris always go the extra mile to ensure every thing is just right . We stayed in December this time and the Christmas tree , decorations and little touches just made it even more perfect. We were lucky enough to time it right so we could attend the Christmas Carol concert in the village church which was beautiful and we were made so welcome . It goes with out saying that the location is perfect to explore Aberdaron and surrounding areas and the views from the house are stunning but for us the home from home feeling you get when you walk through the door just makes every visit so relaxing and always leaves us wanting to go back. Thanks Mags and Chris , can’t wait for our next visit .

The place was immaculately clean.the house is furnished to a great standard and does not feel like a holiday rental I marked down on comfort slightly as the bed in the master bedroom wasn’t comfortable but the other beds were very comfortable. Easy walking distance to the beach and the village a great place to stay and I would definitely book the house again a real credit to the owners Thank-you for a great weekend

Little attention to detail things like pegs to hand out wet clothes, spare toilet rolls, milk, bread & some butter in the kitchen on arrival, all added to an enjoyable experience. Whilst staying at the property we did have a problem with a leak in the bathroom, however I reported this to Mags and a plumber was at the property within 30mins. Great location, beautiful village in a remote location. If I were to give any areas for improvement, it would be we did find the settees in the living room uncomfortable and had a sore back on a couple of days. Apart from that, really enjoyed our stay in a great property in a great location.

“We have stayed in Sykes Cottages for many years and returned on 15th April after a weeks holiday at PaHam and must say this is one of the best properties we have stayed in.”

The facilities and cleanliness were second to none. We were pleased to find that the busy Village car Park in Aberdaron is run by the National Trust and if you are Member, the car Park is free all day. We loved the Village of Aberdaron with all its amenities which caters for all your need, and we really enjoyed our days on the beach. The surrounding areas offer plenty to do on nice days out. We would like to thank Mags and Chris for all their thoughtfulness. For anyone booking this property you won’t be disappointed The Rees and Davies Family and little Bella the dog. Flintshire.

Superbly equipped and a high standard of furnishings. Stunning views from the garden and balcony but also from lounge and conservatory, should the weather be less than ideal. The location is perfect with pubs, cafes, an excellent bakery and the beach just a 5mins walk away. 10mins back (uphill) but worth it for the views. I cannot recommend Paham enough!

Aberdaron itself was also good, the bakery was very good, though on the expensive side, we also ate at the Ship which was good value and the service was excellent. There is a Spar in the village, but just be aware that if you want a larger supermarket, the nearest big one is at Pwllheli. We very much appreciated the bread, bara brith and milk in the cottage on our arrival.

Once we entered the house we fell totally in love with the beautiful sea views and the positive energy that you instantly feel. The home is incredibly comfortable catering for all our needs and more. The games room was a extra treat for the children and not forgetting the dogs chill out area that was just perfect for them. The bedrooms are very clean and comfortable with some very nice little extras ie hot water bottles ear plugs, ear phones, hairdryers and straightening iron mats with extra blankets lots of towels provided we felt right at home. The living area and kitchen were very well equipped and we didn't notice anything that we needed was missing. During our stay a small issue occurred with the heating but the owners couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating and very quickly sorted the problem out. If you are considering this house please note that the photos don't actually do this beautiful home justice its 100% more impressive when you arrive. If you are looking for a beautiful comfortable holiday home in a beach location this is ideal for days on the beach or for nice walks. The town is small and basic but the locals are very friendly and made us feel very welcome during out 7 day stay. We enjoyed a few ice creams and pizzas as well as a meal in the Ship pub. I would definatley stay here again as I love a beach location and its in walking distance that is comfortable for the able but could be tricky for the more elderly of visitors but the car park in town is ideal if you cant manage the walk down the hill. Before we arrived we thought it would be useful to order our shopping online as the nearest supermarket is a good 45 minute away but for some reason this postcode didn't allow any delivery slots although on the day we arrived we did notice the tesco delivery van doing a delivery next door so perhaps check further if you are not wanting to worry about getting to the shops whilst on your holiday. For a total retreat away from life's hustle and bustle this home and location is stunningly beautiful and both our families loved every minute of our stay. If you book please appreciate the extras that are included as it really makes a big difference to your stay.

Paham is a detached house situated in Aberdaron, Gwynedd.

It has four bedrooms: one ground floor king-size with an en-suite shower room and WC, one double and two first floor twin.

There is a separate ground floor bathroom and WC.

Downstairs has a fitted kitchen, and an open-plan living room, dining room and conservatory, as well as a utility room, and games room.

Off-road parking is available for 3 cars.

Outside seaside decking area, as well as a small lawned garden.

Paham is the perfect place to stay in order to access many of Aberdaron’s finest sights.

ABERDARON

Abersoch 11 miles; Pwllheli 16 miles.

The seaside village of Aberdaron is peacefully situated around two streams, and facing the sea. Straggling up the hills are the buildings that give Aberdaron its character; the lime-washed fishermen's cottages, the cafes, shops, and hotels, and the church of St Hywyn. On each side of the river's mouth is the beach for walking and playing on, and a promenade where you can watch the sailing boats and regattas in the bay. There is also a National Trust visitor centre and car park. The popular resorts of Pwllheli and Abersoch are within easy reach. Discover fabulous castles and coves, or enjoy excellent fishing, watersports and golf opportunities, all available nearby. The dramatic scenery and abundance of superb walks at the Snowdonia National Park area are within easy driving distance, making an ideal base for a varied and enjoyable holiday, at any time of year.
