Hilary “The cottage was reasonably warm when we arrived, but there was no fuel or kindling for the log burner.”
All other cottages we've stayed in have had at least enough for one evening. There was no welcome pack, not even anything to make a cup of tea with. The kitchen was poorly equipped. We couldn't find more than 3 wine glasses and there was a hotch potch of drinking glasses and at least one was badly chipped. The place needed a really good clean. We weren't expecting a palace, but it fell well short of the standard of the many other cottages we've stayed in. Good central location, if you don't mind ...
