    “Absolutely stunning property.”

So well equipped with gorgeous views across Lake Bala. Norah and Dylan were fantastic. Both really helpful and told us everything we needed to know, communication was fantastic. I honestly couldn’t find anything to fault with this property and wouldn’t hesitate to go back!

The property

Bala 3 miles.

This well-maintained grade II listed detached house is situated looking down on Bala Lake, in the small hamlet of Llangower.

The North Wales town of Bala in the Snowdonia National Park is just three miles down the road.

Downstairs there is a separate lounge and dining room both with lakeside views.

The lounge is cosily decorated with wooden floors, a wood-beamed ceiling and a stone fireplace with woodburning stove.

Another inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove is located in the dining room across the small hall, which has seating for up to five people.

The fully equipped kitchen contains a two-person breakfast nook.

A rear entrance from the property can be found in the storage and drying room at the back, with a small cloakroom.

There are three bedrooms upstairs, all looking out across the lake to the mountain ranges.

A spacious master bedroom, a second bedroom with a four-foot double bed, and a single room sleep a total of five people.

The family bathroom has a full-sized bath and a free standing shower.

A semi-rural setting, the cottage is surrounded by rolling hills and fields.

This is a serene and tranquil location, and the property's original features such as the cast iron leaded windows add to the cottage’s charm.

Hidden away down a private lane, the secluded cottage has a fully enclosed garden, mostly lawn, which surrounds the front and side of the cottage.

A slate-paved patio and picnic area make the most of the lakefront views from the front of the cottage, with the water so close you feel you could almost dip your toes directly into it.

This cottage is ideal for relaxing at the end of a day spent on the lake, hill walking or mountain biking.

There is plenty of space for storing and looking after equipment such as bikes, kayaks, and windsurfers.

The cottage is also perfectly located to explore nearby castles and Mount Snowdon, making it a great base for a holiday at any time of the year.

Paddle boards can be hired at Llangywer to use on the lake
