    Very comfortable & clean cottage. Had everything we needed. Even the weather was good. Easy access north & south via the local train. Great walking into the hills behind the cottage. Really hope we'll be able to return!

This welcoming Llwyngwril cottage is close to many riverside and hill walks, with the amenities of the village just a 3-minute walk, and it is also only 10 minutes from the beach, which is mainly shingle but offers up stretches of sand and rock pools at low tide.

A new farm shop Hendre Hall has been opened only 50 yards from the property, which boasts a cafe and also a wide range of local produce for sale - from bread, cakes and pies to meat and other produce.

The area is renowned for its fantastic climbing, surfing and cycling opportunities.

Visit Fairbourne, with its 2-mile stretch of golden sands and narrow gauge railway or explore the towns of Dolgellau, Barmouth and Aberdovey, all within easy reach from this Llwyngwril cottage.

The pretty village of Llwyngwril rests quietly at the edge of the River Gwril, nestling between the splendour of the Snowdonia Mountains and the stunning golden beaches of the Cardigan Bay coastline. With its 16th century church, pleasant pub and picturesque riverside setting, it offers excellent walks and boasts a variety of wild flowers and many species of birds that flock to the area’s sheltered beaches and rock pools. Take a trip on the narrow gauge railway from the nearby beautiful sandy beach at Fairbourne, to the sweeping sand dunes at Barmouth. Discover the renowned towns of Tywyn, Dolgellau and Aberdovey, and visit the magnificent sights of medieval Harlech Castle and the Snowdonia National Park, all within a short drive. With plenty to see and do, this is a fantastic holiday location for all the family.
